Very friendly, attentive staff.
The garden view suite was very large, beautifully decorated and furnished, however it had not been thoroughly dusted or vacuumed.
We had to advise the front desk of a couple of maintenance matters in our bathroom and that we needed the heating turned on and these were promptly attended to.
We were surprised that the hotel
We had a lovely relaxing stay in Rockhill House. Staff were exceptional! Nathaniel on reception extended to us a warm friendly welcome and he had a little time to spare kindly allowing us to have a tour of the beautiful Rockhill House. Our first impressions were excellent and this applied right throughout our stay. We highly recommend Rockhill House!
Beautiful property with exceptionally nice staff. There is a delightful restaurant on the property as well with amazing food. The rooms and entire premises are pristine.
This place is stunning, very clean and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. We had such fun and were so happy with our choice to stay, we didn’t want to leave!
This hotel was nice. The history behind it was cool to read about. The thing I didn't like is that there was no air conditioning and we were fortunate to be in Ireland when it was 90 and sunny but sleeping was hard w/out fans.
Wow, literally blown away by The Rockhill Estate. Every detail of the property is of the finest quality, the customer service is impeccable and the quality of food was sublime.
I would definitely recommend for a luxury stay.
From the moment you enter the impressive drive up to main building you are transported to peace, tranquility and luxury.
I can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so wonderful.
Blown away and will definitely be back.
Our room was stunning and most importantly romantically comfortable.
Thank you a million times more
Gorgeous property with friendly staff. Beautiful room with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay even though we were placed in the adjacent building without elevator (carrying our heavy luggage upstairs was a pain).
The restaurant is wonderful, but the spa was closed during our stay, bummer! Check the schedule if planning on using the spa
I wish I could give more stars. This was an absolute dream stay! We were celebrating our proposal/birthday and the staff were so kind and thoughtful when it came to our celebration. The included breakfast (pancakes/waffles) were AMAZING! The dinner was also so delicious. I wish we stayed here longer. Thank you again!
An amazing location in a restored Georgian country manor. As you pull up to the main door, it may occur to you that the entire staff should be lined up to greet you in Downton Abbey style. That's how perfect it is! The staff is excellent. The only flaw was that our room's smoke detector had a hideous blue light that was way too bright at night. There was no way to get the room dark.
The grounds are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the history is interesting. The experience, however, was difficult and comical. The room we paid extra for was not available (though the door to the room was wide open and empty the whole night). The breakfast took over an hour to be served, forcing a late check-out (despite being asked to arrive promptly for our reservation). There was no hand soap next to the sink, but two shower caps. The room was over-engineered, with extraordinarily thick doors, which made it quiet and… unbearably stale and hot. The newest technology in fire safety ment we were safe, but the light coming from the smoke detector was hilariously bright. We’re unsure if we were just unlikely, or if the place has a curse. It’s beautiful, awkwardly quiet, and the staff was very nice, but it was not our best night.
What a gorgeous place to stay, sadly not for long enough! Stayed in the coach house, spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Great breakfast with lots of choice. What made it more special was the staff, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Intend to book again and stay in one of the rooms in the house. Did not get an opportunity to try the restaurant but had a lovely stroll around the grounds and walled garden. A hidden gem!
The property was amazing. It has been restored to all its grandeur from the 17th century. The facilities have been beautifully upgraded. The beds and pillows are heavenly. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a special Mexican tasting menu during g our stay which was better than anything I’ve had in Mexico. Thank you chef Martin and staff. The morning brunch was very good. What a wonderful place and fantastic staff. We had a great stay. Thank you
