It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the towns, but close enough for a short drive for groceries, fuel, pints, food, etc...John checked in on us while we were staying to make sure we were having a great time. 100% would recommend and consider staying if we ever make it back to the West Coast of Ireland! "Beautiful cottage. Everything was wonderful. Very clean. Central location to access the area. Short driving distance to Galway and Connemara. It was the walking distance to Oughterard was fabulous. Cute stores, restaurants and groceries if needed. Christa welcomed us in and she was a wonderful host. The scones were the extra bonus. "
