"Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...

"Das Schindelhäuschen bietet alles, was benötigt wird. Genügend Platz, gut ausgerüstete Küche, angenehme Betten und Bäder. Die Kommunikation war super und der Empfang durch die Nachbarin sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Die Umgebung ist wunderbar, zahlreiche Wanderwege und ein toller Wald bieten für Grosse, Kleinere und Hunde ein wahres Paradies. Sofort wieder! Achtung: kein WLan und Handyempfang "nur" auf dem Hügel (2 Minuten vom Haus) entfernt. Uns war`s recht so :-)"

"We spent 4 nights in this lovely little cottage. Katja was a fantastic host and arranged to meet us when we arrived to show us the property. She kept in touch just enough throughout our stay to let us know she was available if we needed her. We stayed in December and the cottage was cozy and warm. The kitchen is small (we cooked every meal for our family of 5) but had everything we needed. There was so much to do in the area that we could have happily stayed twice as long. "Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal in dem Häuschen. Das Wetter war leider nicht so gut, aber trotzdem kann man sich sehr gut im Häuschen aufhalten. Der Platz reicht auf jeden Fall sehr gut für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Hunde. Außerdem ist alles vorhanden, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt vonnöten ist. Es fühlt sich fast an wie unser zweites Zuhause. :-)"
