The owner made many thoughtful changes when they renovated the house - lights that turn on and off automatically , well appointed and stocked kitchen , comfortable bedding , clean bathrooms , great shower pressure and plumbing , excellent doors and windows - the list goes on and on . The owner , Jacques was kind to answer all our questions pre arrival and Michelle the manager greeted us and cheerfully showed us all the elements of this house. Asnieres Sous Bois...

The location is perfect (just steps away from local shops), the house is breezy and cool, rooms spacious and clean, view from the house sublime, garden a perfect place to play (there are a lot of games for children), and the hosts were a dream. "This accommodation is owned and managed by a couple who understand the needs of their guests and they go out of their way to try to accommodate your needs. Having said that we had as little or as much contact with them as we needed. In our case we were seeking a quiet week away from 'tourist land' where we would be comfortable and undisturbed. This we achieved. The accommodation we stayed in while next to the house and joined to it by an arch (great for keeping the car cool and out of the sun)...

The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."
