"My husband and I visited Siena in 2015 on our honeymoon and stayed at the Villa Del Sole. We loved it so much that we came back again in June 2024. On both visits the owner and staff were wonderful and the rooms are elegant and very comfortable. The view from the property is just lovely and they serve an excellent breakfast that was included with our stay. The property is an easy walk to the center of town at the Piazza del Campo, yet the location is quiet and rustic. In 2015 the lower level of the property was unfinished and they told us they were planning on turning it into a restaurant. We were absolutely stunned by the transformation upon our return. The restaurant is so beautiful and is the perfect setting for a sophisticated dining experience. The food was delicious and the two women who run it provide the type of service and delicious meals you would expect in a five star restaurant. We love this location and felt at home here. We hope to visit again on our next trip to Italy!"

Locanda Bellavita is spectacular, but Stefano (and his adorable dog “Spritz”) makes staying here so very special. We arrived as guests and departed after 2 fabulous weeks as family. "Staying at this old monastery is such a uniquely different guest experience! Surrounded by fantastic old architecture and history, in a quiet location, with beautiful courtyards, Italian garden and an ornately decorated old church. Staff was friendly. Dine in the courtyard which is in a romantic setting, whereas the restaurant lacks ambiance. Amazing breakfast options, dining on patio overlooking the Italian garden. The room was small, but we were happy to get a queen bed."
