About this property

Carrugio Azzurro, a stone's throw from the sea

  • Located in the heart of Levanto, a few meters from the sea, next to the medieval Loggia of 1200, in one of the most suggestive seaside villages: an oasis of tranquility and beauty. An idea for those who want to capture the spirit of the place. Typical house, recently renovated (living room, kitchen, double bedroom, bunk bedroom, bathroom).
Levanto represents the best solution to visit the Cinque Terre in a suggestive way (by sea), practical (by train) and walking between land and sea (via panoramic paths overlooking the sea). The ideal visit starts from Monterosso, continues with the unmistakable Vernazza and continues with Corniglia. we end with the romantic walk of the Via dell'amore that connects the penultimate Manarola to Riomaggiore.

Clean and quiet, great that it has a washing machine. With the heavy rain, clothes didn't dry and the bathroom smelled of mould. The place is smaller than it looks on the photos.

Property was a great location central to town and beach and would stay again. Was great having a kitchen. The fans were great for airflow but still hot at times. Clean and tidy on a surface level but in need of a deep clean

Fyi place doesn't have Wi-Fi. This was noted in the listing but not something I even thought to check for. Host was very communicative. There was no soup or shampoo. Could of used more toiletries and more towels. Great location. Loved the town.

Posizione fantastica, host gentile

Nette Ferienwohnung in historischer Lage

Scomodo stendere i panni .

Sehr nettes Appartment in direkter Meernähe

Fantastic location and nice apartment

This is a lovely little apartment. We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach umbrellas! We were 2 adults and 2 children and, although it is small, it felt fine for us for a week although it did get pretty hot in there during the evenings so I'm not sure we would have wanted to stay much longer. It has a lovely position, nestled off a small alley and overlooking a square of backyards/gardens and we enjoyed hearing the bells and some (not too many!) of the sounds of the lively nightlife. Overall, we were happy and had a lovely stay.
