Anniversary Trip was amazing

Loved the space and amenities. Super clean for a cabin, and lots of stuff clearly labeled and well organized. Just minutes from downtown Lexington and suburban conveniences while offering easy access to all kinds of Shenandoah. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

We had a mini-moon, just one night in the cabin, but it was an absolute dream! Clean and cozy, and so quiet! It was very peaceful, the other cabins are a good bit away so it really feels like it’s just you. Heather was super responsive and sweet, and the breakfast basket was lovely. Just past the tree line on the other side of the road is an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains - and we will absolutely be coming back, and staying much longer next time! Thanks for making our honeymoon an absolute dream!

Beautiful setting

Really enjoyed our stay at Autumn Ridge -- and the drive up to the cabin through the beautiful farmland made coming home all the more special. Deerfield Cottage was a lovely little respite and very convenient to Lexington and all the activities we had there.

My husband and I did a one night stay for our anniversary and everything was amazing. The cottage was super clean and had instructions to everything which i loved. Definitely would go back again.

Deerfield Cabin

Doesn't get much better than this for a single person or for a couple. Quiet, cozy, secluded. There are plenty of amenities in cabin to keep you comfortable, and all in good working order.

Relaxation

We stayed one night for our 1 year anniversary. We loved it, it was so cute and it looked just like the pictures. We had dinner in town, just a few minutes away. We sipped wine on the porch in the rocking chairs. Took advantage of the jacuzzi and fire place.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cottage! Heather responded quickly to messages. I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and lift the couch cushions it needs a realllly good vacuuming there!! The bed was a bit hard for our liking but that’s just a matter of opinion. I would definitely invest in bug control and deep clean it better especially when we are being charged for it!

Autumn Ridge

I have stayed at another Autumn Ridge cottage before and was honestly a bit disappointed with this one. It appeared to have been vacant for some time as there were dead stink bugs throughout. Shower not great but otherwise met our needs.

Wonderful respite

This was a great little cabin to stay in, had everything we needed. Towels are provided and even plush bathrobes. They had firewood for us to make a fire and very comfy seating. The cabin was mostly clean, but you could tell it hadn't been swept recently; lots of dead bugs on the floor. But if that's my only complaint, I'd say it's pretty great!

May Stay 2023

These cottages are comfortable and convenient. We stayed in the Fall of 2022 and chose to stay again! The reason for the 4star with regard to cleanliness is that the windowsills needed to be cleaned and the porch, deck, and deck furniture also needed to be cleaned. They were just not prepared for the summer season. The linens were a little tired, but were clean and the robes are comfy. The shower is a bit awkward to maneuver in and if you are a large person, it may be difficult for you. But, overall this is a terrific place to stay! Have recommended to family and friends for their upcoming trips to Lexington!

Perfect little cottage

My husband and I stayed here to attend our son’s VMI graduation in Lexington, VA. It was perfect for the two of us! It was so charming, romantic, and cozy from the decor to the extra luxury details. We were close enough to town but far enough away to hear the sounds of nature while sitting on the front porch. Our stay exceeded our expectations. It was perfect!

Autumn Ridge Cottages are comfortable, quiet, clean and lovely. Heather is quick to reply to questions. We stayed while visiting our W&L student child - the cottages are a short drive to town. We slept very soundly in the comfy bed in the tree filled setting. Thank you!
