Lovely and close to town

It’s February in Lexington so lots of snow. 5 friends, we didn't leave the house all weekend. All the amenities you’d expect. We had asked for a slow cooker and one was provided. The ladies mentioned the master suite closet smelled musty so did the blankets that came out of it. I did message the owner.. Would stay again, recommend the Huron Street Cafe, awesome breakfast,

This was a great rental - quiet street, perfect location, a lot of space, lots of natural light, huge closets, comfortable beds, great water pressure in shower, easy check in and checkout process. Having the ramp on the porch made it super easy getting luggage in and out. We would definitely stay here again.

Nicely decorated and very clean home in a quiet neighborhood. You provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Loved that it was a short walking distance to downtown. It was the perfect place for our family of six. We highly recommend this house.

My friends and I had a wonderful time! The place was easy to access and the rules for checkout were very simple and easy. We didn’t need our vehicles all weekend long, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The property was very clean, we would all return again!

Very nice getaway

The house was big enough for our family. The games were a nice surprise. The outdoor grill was great. We loved using the fire pit at night. The location was great. The only complaint was that there was stuff left in the refrigerator and freezer. I wish it would have been cleaned out. We would stay here again.

Girls at the Getaway

The Getaway is conveniently located within walking distance to town where we enjoyed restaurants, a farmers market, shopping, a coffee shop and a concert at the theater! Having Lake Huron as a backdrop adds to the up north experience. Walking out on the pier is always a nice experience. Our accommodations were very well suited for our girls weekend! We did find ourselves looking to see our outfits in a full length mirror while getting ready for a concert ....so we bought one as a gift to all future girls weekenders☺️ This was our 2nd annual girls trip and we already plan on coming back for year 3!

Darling home near Downtown Lexington

The owners of this home really do take care of it - it was decorated for the holidays (which was unexpected but realy appreciated). The bedrooms were all cozy - house was very clean and smelled nice (no mustiness here!). The living room area was so cozy for our adult get togethers and conversations. And it was so sweet that they left a slew of coloring books and crayons for our grandson! Weather was not conducive to using the firepit in back, but on nicer weather days that would be such a treat. Contact with the owners/caretakers was fantastic - they were very responsive to any and all questions we had. I would definitely stay in this place again!
