"Drug dealers stayed in the room across the hall from us. People were in and out of their room all night. They were slamming the door nonstop and cussing in the hallway and smoking marijuana. We checked out after the first night. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but had to leave after just one night. Bad experience. Front desk assistant told me he was going to notify Expedia that we were leaving after one night. Thanks"

"A work in progress. Don’t be fooled by the older exterior appearance . Clean updated rooms and a great staff. Pool looked clean and was used by other guests. Good coffee. I didn’t have breakfast. I recommend Carolina’s Diner for great home cooked food."

"Nice property, had events booked up throughout the weekend so definitely a lot of traffic. Would be good to separate parking for paying guests. Front desk not very helpful most of the time, felt like they did not want to help, tons of younger kids running around property knocking on random doors, fun to watch-annoying to sleep. Breakfast was good, would be good if they mixed it up a little. Pool and pool area were terribly cold to the point of not being able to enjoy, that was a big disappointment front desk told us they couldn’t do anything about it. Would also be good if housekeeping checked the garbage in room during our stay. Waiting for charges to post but upon check in what we paid was different than expedia price. Evening reception was bare, celery, carrots dips and trail mix/chips salsa, comp drinks kind of cool."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Greensboro NC

"The room itself was generally clean and comfortable, but there were several maintenance issues that stood out. The floor had noticeable cracks, the main entry door did not seal tightly, and the walls showed dirt and wear that should have been addressed. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. Common areas appeared dirty and not well maintained, giving the impression that housekeeping and upkeep are not a priority. The biggest frustration was breakfast service. After the initial rush of guests, many food items were not restocked, leaving limited options for those who came down later during the breakfast hours. Overall, while the room was acceptable, the lack of maintenance, cleanliness throughout the property, and poor breakfast management made for a less-than-satisfactory stay."

"By far my favorite hotel when I’m in the Charlotte area it’s always so nice and clean and very quiet and the breakfast is top tier"

Sleep Inn & Suites at Concord Mills

"We showed up to check in and was told that the elevator broke down so everybody was on the first and second floor then about an hour after check-in the fire alarms went off in the building and we had to evacuate because someone put toast in the toaster and the toaster caught on fire so the whole downstairs area where we were on floor one smelled of burnt toast all night. It had been a worker that caused the toaster because the breakfast area was closed off to everyone else. There was never an apology to anyone or asking if anyone needed anything or if we were OK. The two workers that I saw there were outside. I never saw anyone check on the people that were staying there or make sure that everyone that was staying there was out of the building."

Great Wolf Lodge Concord

"I arrived at 1 pm. I called great wolf a few days before and they new we would arrive early. I was supposed to get a text when my room was ready. Everyone that checked in at 1 pm, got there room before us. The check in time is 4pm. I had to go to the desk at 440pm to ask when my room would be ready and suddenly it was ready. I was tired and wanted to change. My kids wanted to go and eat. When we finally arrived into our room. My son was showering the only light flickered off, it scared him and he screamed. My daughter had to use the light of my cell phone to shower but in the middle the light came back on. The bathroom is pitch dark without a light. My son could not see and slipped coming out of the tub, trying to get out. All can say was the staff was nice. I am not sure I will be back."
