"we thought we'd found the perfect hotel but 2 irritations stand out. Lack of milk in bedroom despite asking for it. Can't guarantee to remember at breakfast to ask for it . Didn't realise there was a fridge..Also notes on working the nespresso thing would help 2. On our last night we requested a 7o'clock dinner booking as the previous night no one else had been in, so we assumed we'd been too late. However when we went in at 7 there was no one else dining and we were told everyone else was dining in the bar. We said we'd happily move but were rather bullied into staying in the dining room, and then we had to wait 1 HOUR before we got fed. Spoiled our stay. "

"Lovely trip, great location and hotel was beautiful, bedroom lovely. Bed a bit hard, a mattress topper would go a long way, but didn't detract much."

"What a lovely place to stay. A convenient location on the A66 (near to Scotch Corner). Beatiful views from the back of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the bar area. Rooms were nice and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom and great shower. The only downside was that we were in Room 8 which was above the kitchen which was a bit on the noisey side. Will definitely use again but would bring ear plugs next time."

"We stayed here in January 2025 and it was looking very tired. The updates are fabulous and it so much nicer. Great location. It sits right in the middle of the moors and Ilkley, with about a 10 minute walk to both or a 2 minute drive. On a hill though? "
