"Seriously run down. No vent of any kind in the bathroom so it fogs immediately and continually smells of mildew. Carpet is filthy- walking on it, in ten minutes your socks are brown. Moldy lampshades, rusted lamp bases. Sheets looked used so we stripped them after one night to force a change. Dingy with no bright lightbulbs. You get one towel each even though they have a pool and gym. Asked for a blanket (and Lysol spray) at 9pm and were told none available as housekeeping locks up after day shift (!). Breakfast is decent/ eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt. Sketchy parking shared with others and some sketchy residents. The lady(?) across the hall had locked herself in and the police had to come evict her. Should have moved up to the $195 a night hotels. Would never stay there again "

"Bed bugs "

"We liked that the accommodations were exactly if not better than advertised. Loved the decor! So pleasing, welcoming and comfortable. Location was excellent for walking and/or driving to the various locations we wished to visit. The value of the lodging was excellent-we’ve paid more for less so getting more than expected was great! Ample extra linens/blankets were available which was very nice. Having a coded lock on the door was wonderful because it avoided the need to keep up with a key. It was nice that the thermostat settings were not limited for the duration of our stay; it allowed us to be very comfortable while in the residence. For those of us who are technologically challenged, communicating via text/internet only was disturbing. No phone contact number was available and the host did not make any phone contact. Gaining access to the lodging required obtaining the code and instructions via devices which was a little concerning. Parking instructions were to park as close to the building as possible to allow another vehicle to park along side our vehicle. That area is too limited to comfortably accommodate two vehicles and the tree on the right next to the building was quite troubling going in and coming out. Overall this property deserves a 10 rating in our opinion. Thanks."

"This is the cutest cottage! Clean, well appointed and very convenient to downtown and surrounding baseball parks for college weekend series. Comfortable and clean & tidy and has everything you need."

"My friend wanted to take a road trip to Laurel and requested we stay at Daphne (caught her eye as it was pink). Good size cottage for two and close to downtown as well as the mall. I appreciated the hot water pot for my tea. Sufficient amenities if you chose to prepare meals in house (we ate at Pearl’s and Waffle House). Hosts very attentive. Good price. I would definitely recommend a stay at Daphne. "

"Everything about our stay was wonderful at this little bungalow. A nice central location, so convenient to eating and shopping. Parking was available right at the door. Nicely appointed and so cute! The host provided great information about check in, instructions, and area of interests. "
