"Such a nice stay. I e did have to pay for parking- which I missed when booking. Breakfast is typical hotel buffet. They do have made to order omelettes but we went down just before it closed and didn’t bother with it. Hot tub was nice but pool was cold. Gym was super clean and well equipped. Rooms were nice but there was construction next door outside our room and they started at 7 am. There are some restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Neighborhood felt safe. "

We were in town for my daughter’s dance recital at the nearby Kansas City Music Hall, and the location could not have been more perfect literally steps away! But what truly elevated our stay was the exceptional service and the unmatched warmth of the front desk staff. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine smiles and gracious hospitality. We were met by Fanny, an absolute gem of a front desk professional, who deserves a standing ovation of her own. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Not only did she make us feel completely at home, but she also went above and beyond to answer every question with care from parking suggestions to nearby dining to helping us coordinate a late checkout so my daughter could change after her performance. Fanny’s professionalism and warmth were a shining example of top-tier customer service. She was our calm in the whirlwind of recital day, and I cannot thank her enough for her thoughtfulness. If you’re visiting downtown Kansas City especially for an event at the Music Hall Crowne Plaza is the ONLY place to stay.
