"The room was tiny, dirty and stuffy with no AC to help regulate the temperature. We had to pay extra for a bed that I would have assumed came with the room as I booked it for three people. Staff were often not around at the front desk to help, because they were short staffed. Machines in the games room, stopped working (although a discount was offered when this happened). Breakfast was okay. But the restaurant was overpriced and poor quality. We ordered Patas Braves and got and burnt plate of sweet potato fries. The sauna and gym were appalling. The sauna basically didn't work or couldn't get up to temperature and all the games (tennis, bowling) cost extra. Finally we didn't have a car which I now know was a mistake. Not the hotel's fault, but travel to Zutphen was terrible and confusing, with two buses an hour that go away from the hotel. "

"I must say that the room here was the most comfortable of my month long stay in Europe. The only thing, and i mentioned it to the front desk staff, is that the shower floor is extremely slippery. They should just run a couple of non slip strips. But thats it. The stay was great, the location is great. I only gave service 3 stars because they are annoyingly slow in the lounge."

"I am writing this review at 05 in the morning because the bed keeps me awake, it is completely worn out, soft, and I can feel the springs from the mattress in my back. There seems to be a topping bedding mattress missing, it feels unhygienic and the sheet just moves around. It supposed to be a double bed but the two separate beds just sliding apart. The pillow is also warned out with lumps in it. The heat in the room was off and it felt cold when we arrived. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower cabin, unfortunately the shower was faulty so all the water ran out onto the bathroom floor. The towels are so warn out, frayed and torn. Rooms were very poorly cleaned. We tried the pool which was nice and felt fresh apart from some odor that came from time to time. The pool was a little too cold for my taste. We also bowled on extremely worn out courts. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, a hamburger which was ok and a mixed grill which was an extremely small portion. The breakfast was basic, no large selection and not worth the price. It must have been a nice facility once upon a time, now it feels very worn out and as if they are struggling to get it going around."
