"The apartment is beautifully decorated with antiques and vintage furnishings. We especially enjoyed the terrace where we could relax with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. It was away from the city center which we appreciated and found an outstanding local restaurant that we returned to twice. There is now an elevator which is great for being on the 4th floor. Unfortunately the tram was not operating while we were there due to construction on the rails but we fared ok with taxis....

"We've visited Rome and "House Blaserna " with the four of us, parents and two sons. It was great. House Blaserna is an apartment surrounded by all kind of shops, near several busstops/metro and you can be in the centre of Rome in about 15 minutes. The apartment is very well equipped, shows very new and is very very comfortable. "We had a great stay at Carlo’s. The location was great for us- quiet and residential but close enough to busy Trastevere bars and restaurants to walk. We were travelling with a baby and Carlo was very accomodating by supplying a crib and high chair. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Check-in was quick and easy, and the reception staff were efficient, professional, and polite throughout our stay. We enquired about a paid room upgrade on arrival, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. We also discovered that the basin taps in our bathroom were not functioning correctly. To their credit, the staff immediately offered to move us to another room the following day and handled the change efficiently and without any fuss. Thank you to the team for resolving the issue so promptly. If you are considering staying here, my advice is simple: book one of the rooms overlooking the central courtyard garden. It is well worth the additional cost. We were travelling as a group of four and the other couple in our party stayed in an Executive Double overlooking the garden, while we stayed in a Superior Double. To be honest, we were a little jealous! The garden views are beautiful, the setting is peaceful, and the rooms feel that much more special. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room sizes were generous by European city standards. While the hotel is undoubtedly showing its age and could benefit from some refurbishment, this did not detract from our stay at all. In many ways, the hotel’s character, charm, and nostalgic atmosphere are part of its appeal. It feels like stepping back into a more elegant era of travel. The standout feature, however, is the location. It is 10/10"
