"This place was amazing. The view was spectacular and it was so quiet and peaceful. Our room had floor to ceiling windows to capture the beautiful grounds and the amazing mountains and lake. The breakfast had everything you could want and the food was great. The villa had multiple places where you could relax from the pool or with drinks in the cozy indoor seating area. We had dinner on the terrace that was beautifully lit with candles and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful with recommendations and setting up transportation for us. They went out of their way to add special touches to give their guests a great experience. I could have stayed here much longer than the 4 days I booked. I’m so glad I chose this resort."

"Hi! This hotel was the best hotel I ever stayed at. The Staff was SO SWEET - provided my fiancé and I a bottle of champagne for our engagement/birthday. The room service was perfect. The view was stunning and the hotel was perfectly located in town. They helped set up a boat tour for us as well as a restaurant up on a top of a hill in Bellagio. Could not have asked for a better experience. I would definitely come back here again."

"We were 2 people and spent 6 nights in this apartment in early October. We had a rental car and secure garage was provided. Varenna was 5-10 minutes drive but you can’t walk it easily on the busy road with no foot path. Parking in Varenna can be challenging after 10 am but there is a large deck on one side of town and a train station parking are on the other. Weekends - arrive before 10 am for best chance to park. The apartment was very clean and spacious with many lovely artistic touches. Host was very easy to communicate with and helped us get restaurant reservations. We had the cooking class offered by his daughters right there in our kitchen and I highly recommend this experience early in your trip if you are staying for many days because the food we made sustained us for 4 days and it was delicious! The view is stunning and the patio is so lovely. We would have spent a lot more time out there but the mosquitos were very aggressive this time of year. Multiple AC units in the apartment - including the sunroom/dining room. WiFi worked great. Laundry was easy to access. We did not use the fitness room. Highly recommend the property and the hosts. The apartment is adjacent to the main road into Varenna and the traffic sounds are 24/7. The windows block this sound very well for sleeping."
