"This is a precious little hotel. Everything is stellar, but we wish to acknowledge the staff in particular. Nadia, Anna, and Susanna at reception could not have been more helpful. Alfredo cheerfully hauled our luggage up and down many flights. But Andrea, the chef, was the star. Young and very talented, he is going places. His dishes were superb. Our room was interesting. The view, towards the lake, was lovely. The sink, and “periscope“ faucet dropping straight down from the ceiling, was aesthetically pleasing, but not very functional. Other than that, this hotel is perfection. We couldn’t recommend it more highly."

"This place was more than we expected! Quiet, beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. There’s even a ferry stop pretty much steps away (not a frequent one, but you can plan ahead with the schedule). Communication with Carla and Erica was outstanding. They both helped immensely on everything from check-in to directions to ferry and bus schedules. And the boat trip! If you have the chance to a boat tour with Carla and Carlos’ company - absolutely do it! It was the highlight of our trip. I’m actually thinking about coming back with my dad to do it all again!"

"Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. There are 2 roads to drive in and out of the area, I'd recommend inquiring about the route that is wider. The apartment had everything we might require and we were provided with a lovely welcome basket. Communication was very good and my only complaint would be that we were exhausted, advised of the time we would arrive, and had to wait a half hour before someone gave us the key. We were proactive in giving an arrival time, but as in life things may occur that make someone late, so I cannot say that it will be an issue for guests in the future. There is a market within walking distance and a restaurant 2 minutes up the road. I'd definitely recommend a stay at this location. "
