"I didn’t take advantage of breakfast; the hotel is well located, above a Migros if you want to buy any food. Clean rooms, wonderful staff."

"We spent 2 days in Bienenberg Hotel. On arrival, we were asked whether we would be willing to take breakfast late, as that would allow personnel to come to work later. After recovering from that surprise, we had dinner in the restaurant. When we mentioned that the whipped cream in our desert was tasteless, the waitress replied that "In Switzerland, whipped cream has no taste". When we complained that there was a heavy deposit in the bottom of our glass of wine, we were told that that is normal....

"A unique setting in a beautiful area. The hotel is located right next to the Rhine River in a scenic location where the river moves rapidly with a soothing sound. The view also includes a small island that is a pedestrian park. The surrounding historic center city is well preserved and gives you a real feeling for what the area looked like in the Middles Ages. Furnishings are dimple but comfortable. The hotel restaurant is good, but expensive, and there are many other dining choices nearby. The...
