"Wonderful family holidays:One family English/one German.Spacious well-kept house and beautiful spacious grounds:Had family tournaments: Basketball, pingpong, pool Billard.Wonderful sun bathing,small tennis court,had to lovely bbqs in the cozy Finnish grill hut.10 minutes by car to beautiful town Saint Omer plus bakery shop/butchers shop/pharmacy at 10 minutes on foot. "Although we have been to Northern France on numerous occasions this was a first, and it did not disappoint. Large property accommodating our party of 3 adults and 3 children (9-14). Enough bedrooms for all and a well equipped kitchen and a large loungec dine with all the cutlery and glasses you could wish for. In the evening the large dining table doubled up for card and other games. The pool was a clear winner with everyone enjoying the heated pool and the goodweather. we did not feel we had to...

"Nice house with everything you need. We liked the different spaces at the different floors. Really nice and private outside area with sun during the whole day. Round bed was good as well (enough space for the both of us). Make a note that there is no wifi and sheets+towels are for rent or you can bring your own. Cassel is cozy with different restaurants and take aways (pizza take out around the corner is really good!) and a nice spot from where you can explore the area (Lille, Dunkirk)."

"This was a good large cottage in a very quiet village only an hour into France from Calais. Nice sizable garden for the kids to have fun. The coast and Belgium were both within reach for days out."

"We had a lovely stay in the Seven Valleys. It was a peaceful place in the midst of french farmlands. The house is perfect for groups and has everything you could imagine for a fun night. Pool, darts, airhockey, pingpong, firepit, etc. The communication with the owner was really good, fast and helpful replies. Beach only 1 hr drive away and a nice chocolate museum 20 min away. Keep in mind that restaurants and stores close quite early in the country side."

"We came to France to celebrate our wedding anniversary and couldn't have chosen better. The location is quiet, the people are friendly and the cottage itself is beautiful. The owners, who live across the canal, left us be to enjoy our holiday, which we did. We'll most certainly be going back."

High Standard and Quality Fittings

"Despite the Hotel undergoing refurbishments, everything was as it should be. We stopped here as it is then just a short trip to Calais. We were feeling under the weather and asked if we could have dinner in our room, nothing was too much trouble. The dinner was delicious. On arrival it was lovely to find a car park with large spaces, so unusual these days. Breakfast was also very good, top ticks all round."

"The room was a really good size with a large shower and a kitchenette. The parking was secure and the centre of town was walkable. I wasn't so happy about picking up the keys from a different location and then trying to find where we were staying with limited directions. A map would have been useful. The breakfast wasn't worth calling a breakfast but there is a nearby crockery that sells all the usual stuff."

"We arrived extremely late (1am) so used the after hours check in however it struggled to recognise our booking until we tried my first name for the surname entry! After that it was plain sailing. For €40, it was comfortable, convenient and somewhere to lay our heads before a long onward journey "
