"We absolutely LOVED our stay at Lime Tee Bay Resort in Layton, Long Key FL! For the price were completely blown away by how wonderful it was, with so many great amenities on property and beautiful views. We stayed 4 nights in April. This resort is spread along two sides of the main highway. We chose a king suite with canal view, instead of the waterfront gulf view. The waterfront rooms seemed to have a great view and easy access to the pool and dock, but we were happy with our big deck and access to the additional pool area on the canal side. Our room was spacious clean. Shower was a little janky, but functional. We took advantage of the free kayaks, and the beach area is great for swimming, basking, and snorkeling. This was our first trip to the Keys, and honestly we were so happy just chilling on the deck and taking in the view and breezes, and visiting the beach, that we could have just stayed at the resort the whole time. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had the "privacy please" tag on the door for most of our stay as we don't require regular tidying and aren't towel hogs, but the cleaning staff saw us on the deck and still asked if we needed anything. Very nice! Front desk staff were great at explaining all the available amenities and answering any questions. The onsite restaurant was just okay. They do serve breakfast, which is very convenient before heading out for the day. We had a fantastic trip to the keys at Lime Tree Bay and can't wait to book again!"

"Parking next to the cottages. Clean rooms with daily towel replacement and trash pickup. Our room had a microwave and small refrigerator. Very well maintained property. A homey atmosphere. We would choose this again."

"This is a beautiful resort with lots of complimentary activities. The staff were excellent. The only negative was the drinks were not consistent. We ordered a pina colada and mojito and both were not very good especially since it was $30 without tip"

"The name of this place should be Baker’s Cay FAMILY resort. While I totally understand this was not an adults only property, there were screaming kids everywhere. The biggest issue is no soundproofing in the rooms. We were woken in the middle of the night every night and early mornings by a crying baby. We told the front desk after the second night and they said they called our neighbors (why?) and said they didn’t have kids in their room, so make that make sense. They offered a credit- that helped marginally, but is pennies on the dollar compared to what we paid to be there. We checked in on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet, but that changed the next day. Breakfast on Friday morning was insanity, the furthest thing from peaceful. We found some recluse from kids by the adults only pool (thank god for that), but the pump for the waterfall is so loud you can barely have a conversation. The beaches and water are beautiful, the property is well kept and staff are friendly enough. Areas do get closed off for weddings frequently, so that was frustrating. All food and drink comes with a 20% gratuity added on to make it “convenient for you”. Food and drink are priced like they should be absolutely top notch quality, but I’m sad to say it just wasn’t. The cost of eating and drinking here is absolutely staggering and nothing we had was amazing, justifying the cost. Skip this place and spend more time in Key West. We’ll never recommend this place to anyone and will never be back."

"This little gem was paradise. It might not be the biggest resort around but it had everything you needed. The waterfront area had ample lounges and adirondack deck chairs to allow you to take in the beauty of Buttonwood sound. The rooms are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and Keurig machines.. The office has a wonderful coffee maker that grinds and brews your coffee. I have the best cappuccinos every morning. We took advantage of the complementary bicycles and paddle boards. It was our first time in Key largo but the next time, we need a place to relax, this is definitely the place."
