Stayed for the Braderie in Lille. The were three of us in a three bed room. Pros: staff are wonderful, great location, shower was nice, beds were comfy and clean. Cons: it's in need of a refresh, everything is a bit worn out. Breakfast was very expensive for the limited offer and on our last day there was simply not enough food for everyone eating. We had a good stay and slept well. It was a bit expensive for what we got but it did the job for us.

The hotel is located near the main square Grand’Place so is close to a lot of sightseeing places and transportation. The staff were police and friendly however the hotel didn’t have all the amenities listed and the shower hose was broken. Overall it’s a good hotel as a base and to sleep.

We picked the hotel for its location which is excellent. We thought it would be hard to get taxis and Ubers to pick up as the front of the hotel as it is in a pedestrian only area, but the front desk helped us coordinate that and the drivers usually walked down to meet us. There were homeless people sleeping in the alleyway at the hotel entrance and it was dirty outside. I understand the plight of the homeless and they were not at all confrontational. However, it might be off putting for some folks. Our tv didn’t work. The front desk person had hoped to get it fixed, but that didn’t happen, which is ok because there are so many other interesting things to do in Lille, and we didn’t miss it at all. We didn’t partake of the breakfast, but it looked quite good. Would I stay there again? Probably not, but it was certainly ok.

Excellent location for the Hotel , all the staff are very friendly, including the housekeeping. Nice, nice breakfast and relaxation area. Five minutes from majority of all things.
