Great Location - But Difficulties with Access to Property
Overall, the stay was wonderful. But there are areas for improvement. 1) When we received the packet to enter, there was no note (and the agency didn't seem to be aware ) that to enter the gate/boom, you needed to use the mobile phone provided. It took us an hour to find that out even after calling the agency.
The cabin is wonderful too. But the keypad will not allow any access between the hours of 12 am - 8 am which we were not told of. This caused us to be locked out 2 of the nights. The first night, we thought it was due to us not entering the code correctly too many times. So we were worried about getting locked out all week, then we left town for an outing and got back at 12:10 am near the end of our stay and had the same problem I was checking the door every hour starting at 5 am since it was quite cold outside for sleeping. This could be solved with a key in the key box to the side door? or removing the 'hourly permanent lock out' on the key pad. At the very least had we known the lock out hours, we could have planed to make sure we were back on time. This was a disappointment.
Finally, for the electric and cleaning fees. There is no ATM in town near the cabin, they do accept credit cards if you are able to get there when the office is open. I had difficulties with this as we had many plans during the week. Just make sure you plan for that piece.
