Horses on the Gallop. Along the top of the cliffs between Kilve and Lilstock is a wide grass track known as the Gallop which was previously used to exercise racehorses. It is still popular with local riders. Hinkley Point nuclear power station can be seen in the distance on the right of the picture.

We found various food joints just a few blocks away. Parking right out front. A quick knock on the door and Aimee, the host, had us taken care of immediately. Extremely comfortable beds. Very warm and truly cozy. If I end up back in the area I'll definitely be staying here again. "

"We booked a triple premium however they are not the pet friendly rooms, there is no option on hotels.com to book a pet friendly room. Thank goodness they had one available for us to move into, albeit a smaller double room with a laminated floor was the difference. The hotel is lovely, friendly staff and the food very good"
