"We were welcomed with a smiley staff who let us know they have done some renovations and would love our feedback. The rooms were pretty with cabin decor, microwave and fridge along with being very clean. You can see a lot of work was done. The next area that should get TLC would be the bathrooms, although still clean they are very old, small and tight to maneuver in. We had the pleasure of seeing elk up close in the back yard as well! Thank you Mountain View Lodge for a wonderful stay!"

"We enjoyed our visit while hiking in the park. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We were unable to use the hot tub as it was on a raised slab that was not wide enough to stand on to get in and out. If only I were younger!"

"Excellent all the way from the comfortable beds to the spotless clean house. Plenty of space, we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit or hot tub because of our short visit but I would Highly recommended this little Gem. Close to town and we saw Elk grazing in the grass in front of this house we rented!!"

"We loved the Lyon's Den! It was a nice surprise to see some of the things that don't come through in pictures & postings: the quality of the linens & furniture, the well-stocked kitchen with decent cookware & some of the unpictured items like the bunkbed room (a full on bottom & twin upper) and the gigantic tub in the bathroom off the kitchen. The technology worked effortlessly and the only issues we encountered with a few many-legged creatures you cannot avoid when you're in a home in the woods. We hope to return for another trip jext year. Potential future uogrades: overhead lighting in the master bedroom (maybe a switched cord at the plug by the door like you have over the dining room table except more/brighter light so we could see inside our suitcases) and padded cushions for the benches at the dining table since spent hours there every night playing games. Thank you for sharing your property with us!"

"Darling cabin! Very well stocked with everything I could possibly need for my stay. Quiet area with quiet neighbors, perfect for a hiker needing good zzz’s after long days in the park! The porch/deck looked like it would be amazing to watch sunsets from but I was gone until well after dark each night.The cedar hot tub looked so inviting but honestly I spent so much time in Rainier, I never did have time to use it! The record player was so fun. There were games and puzzles and books as well. The location was very close to the main part of Packwood, easy to get to morning coffee and to grab a drink in town. Also incredibly close to the park entrance. I was sad Sunrise was closed due to the fires but the hosts have a binder full of recommended hikes. I’d love to return with my family to really enjoy the property next time!"
