Great Overall

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The airport transfers were easy and timely. I would definitely stay here again!

La habitación privada deja mucho que desear. Da a un patio y hay ruido y luz todo el tiempo. El último día encontré una araña grandísima al lado de la cama. Lo que tiene a favor: el personal es súper amable y dispuesto a ayudar.

Horrível. Pense em outro lugar

Horrível. Estivemos em outro hostel da rede Che Lagarto em Foz do Iguaçu e tivemos uma boa estadia. Resolvemos nos hospedar no Che Lagarto em Lima acreditando que a rede seguiria o mesmo padrão e foi uma péssima experiência. Reservamos e pagamos adiantado por uma suíte privativa. Chegamos tarde e nos acomodaram em um quarto com obras inacabadas, roupa de cama suja, fedendo mofo e a descarga da privada não funcionava. Fomos conversar com a atendente, ela nos acompanhou até o banheiro, viu que não era possível um reparo simples e disse que nos acomodaria em outro quarto. Esperamos por cerca de dez minutos e nada. Fomos novamente até a recepção e para nossa surpresa ela estava deitada confortavelmente no sofá com cobertor. Questionamos sobre a troca do quarto e ela disse que não havia outro quarto disponível, que era para deixar o problema para resolver no dia seguinte e que a diária não seria cobrada. No dia seguinte nos colocaram em um quarto que sequer tinha numeração, era identificado na chave como "staff". O novo quarto tinha um banheiro muito pequeno, escuro e sujo - era tão ruim que minha namorada preferiu tomar banho no banheiro compartilhado -, uma janela minúscula e ficava de frente para a porta do hostel, o que atrapalhou nosso sono. Já esperávamos um café da manha simples, mas a verdade é que era melhor nem oferecer. E após prometer a devolução da primeira diária, ninguém mais tocou no assunto. Obviamente não esperávamos nenhum luxo, mas foi muito decepcionante.

Só chegamos às 23h para dormir e já saímos de manhã cedo. Pegamos um quarto de casal ou banheiro privativo. Foi uma estadia bem agradável sem barulho.

Très bon séjour. Expérience auberge de jeunesse recherchée et trouvée (contact facile avec les autres voyageurs + multinationalité). Rapport qualité prix excellent. Hygiène correcte, dortoirs corrects, petit dej simple mais correct. Attention, si vous recherchez le calme, passez votre chemin car ça rentre et ça sort dans le dortoir a tout heure du jour et de la nuit. Bien localisé dans le quartier Miraflores à côté du pacifique (cours de surf) et de la ligne C pour rejoindre le centre de Lima.

Quem busca um hostel, busca diversão, passeios, opções, cia e sugestões! O hostel é limpo, super bem localizado, porém o café da manhã que oferecem é ruim e não há sugestões de passeios, informações, festas...

Bien, aunque hice una reservación en una habitación para cuatro personas y cuando llegue allá nos acomodaron como con 12 personas mas y separados. Pareciera que no habían reservado las camas. Los baños estában muy sucios, creo que se podrían esforzar mas en el aseo de las duchas y pisos. Es un buen lugar que puede mejorar, ya conozco otros che lagarto... Y este podría ser mejor

Me fue bien, el personal es muy amable y servicial. Ya había visitado el Che lagarto de río de Janeiro y ambos son similares, en relación precio calidad esta bien. Lo recomiendo.

Nada de lujo pero con ambiente excelente! Todos son muy amables!.. Ubicación perfecta para disfrutar una noche de paso por Lima.. Habitación amplia y cómoda, baño limpio, y desayuno básico con frutas frescas!

Tudo ótimo. O pessoal do Che Lagarto está de Parabéns!!! Ótima localização e preço. Foi o Hostal mais divertido e animado. Banheiro e áreas em comum sempre limpos. Estão todos de Parabéns. Recomendo com louvor para quem procura um albergue.

Che Lagarto em Lima - Bem localizado e confortável

O hostel fica muito bem localizado, perto de praças, restaurantes, ponto de ônibus, supermercado 24he a poucas quadras do Larcomar. Adoramos nossa estadia, o pessoal do Che lagarto é muito atencioso e prestativo, a segurança é muito boa. Não é muito novo, mas tudo está muito bem conservado e limpo... não tem insetos. O café da manhã é simples mas muito gostoso... Ah, ouvi falar que é difícil achar hostel com banho quente, o che lagarto tem!!! todos nossos banhos foram bem quentes e com uma boa pressão de água. O espaço físico do quarto também foi outra coisa que nos agradou muito. Com certeza sempre q formos à Lima ficaremos hospedados lá. RECOMENDAMOS MUITO!

backpackers hotel in good location

This hotel is located in a great spot close to many attractions within walking distance, beach, mall, town center for tours....... the hotel was difficult to find as the entrance is a stand up sign on a side road. no lobby, walk up 3 flights of stairs (hope you dont have lots of luggage) to find the door to the actual hotel which shares the building with many other businesses and apartments. i would recommend this hotel to the single backpacker or group travelers, but definitely not to the traditional family. Trust me, you will feel out of place in this hotel and with the type of customers here. The room wasnt too bad, but very outdated. Overall, a cheap place to sleep and good location. not for the family vacation!!!!
