"If you're considering staying somewhere else, don't! This is THE place to be! The home is conveniently located close to many key areas, a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City (why pay more) and the beach! Inside is spacious (you could sleep so many here!), neat and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could possibly need. If you're a nature person, the backyard is beautiful and so calming. The owner Matt is so kind and thoughtful! What place have you stayed at that (not a hotel) had mini toiletry items in the bathrooms? Extra blankets. Free popcorn. Wifi. Entertainment area. Grill and fire pit. Matt really goes above and beyond, and it shows. And it's pet friendly!! I really could go on but instead just do yourself a favor and book. You won't be disappointed. (Not paid, I just really, really enjoyed it here! )"

"We have enjoyed every year we stay at this place….excellent location for all we enjoy doing! The home is perfectly equipped for cooking and enjoying. The only downside that we have noticed through the years, as we get older and the cabin gets older, are the beds and the main floor toilet. The beds are getting saggy and the main toilet would be nice as a high rise elongated…..not convenient for a handicapped individual."

"I would definitely stay at this location again. Went up there with a co-worker and was working in that area the convenience of it being right where we were working was great. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with multiple appliances to make you feel like you're at home. Smart TVs throughout the house was nice to have. In the communication between the host and I was great."

"This review is based on multiple considerations. Our niece was getting married in Traverse City MI region. Our group consists of 10 people, a combination of couples and single adults. We spent significant time looking at options that would accommodate our number plus the mix of individuals. We found a nice, wooded Chalet VRBO that met our needs. We reserved it and paid our fees a month before the wedding We were over halfway in our drive to the VRBO when I received a phone call from the Chalet VRBO management company. I was advised that they had sent me an email the previous day on the VRBO site. On the phone call I was advised that the owners of the Chalet had been living there for the past year and had changed the bedding arrangements. The bedding arrangements no longer met the needs of our group. The management Company offered two of their other properties as options. We chose the only other option that we thought would come close to what we needed. The carpet on the stairs is dirty and matted, The hard floors were so dirty we left our shoes on, two if the beds were in the dark basement where there was a strong musty smell and no windows, living room furniture is what you would find in a waiting room at a Dr’s office, the other furnishings were mismatched, no drapes or shades in the living room although the rods are there, no directions for using the TV (remote was found in the bedroom) garage door opener didn’t work. We were so disappointed and I was very embarrassed!"
