"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large! 3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot! 4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth the $. 5. We were there in March, so still early spring, but the pool area and grounds looked very inviting for warmer weather. 6. Excellent treatment at reception for both arrival and departure. 7. Room/beds/AWESOME shower! We would love to return!"

"Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive. The Chateau looks amazing on arrival and even more so in the evening. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. There is parking on site and we had breakfast booked which was good. The village is a stones throw and definitely worth going to visit. "

"This is an excellent hotel. The bedrooms are modern and spotlessly clean. Anne-Marie is so hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend and will return the next time we are in the Dordogne. "

"We stayed in an apartment for 4-6 people for 3 nights. Not happy on a few accounts. 1. There is an exhorbitant deposit required on arrival. 2. There was a detailed inventory we had to check through on arrival and a cost per item if anything was missing. (Some things were missing when we arrived!). 3. We were presented with sheets/towels on arrival. 4. The booking said they spoke French and English. On arrival the person on reception didn't speak any English (although there were other people on reception on other days who did speak some English). (I know it's our problem really for not knowing too much French !). 5. The apartment wasn't well designed. Toilet upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Not much room downstairs and apart from hard chairs next to the table there was only seating for 3. 6. Outside, there was a table and chairs but again, only seats for 3. 7. The grounds (grass area) didn't look particularly well maintained. The pool and jaccuzzi looked good although we didn't use those. You can walk into town. It takes about 30 mins which is fine if you're going in for a few hours."
