"Nice little house outside town with large windows and porch and a lot of privacy. Could be cleaner (not just for the eye) and the lighting could be better, but we had a very nice stay for a week, we even prolonged our stay with a day. The kitchen is well provided and the bathroom is good with a nice hot shower and lots of towels provided by the host. There is a bikepath along the canal to the little town of Decize, where there are a couple of nice restaurants. And there is a big supermarket...

The cathedral backdrop just added to the experience and was the best alarm clock for our check out the next morning. "I loved the place but there was nobody there when it was time to check in. I was sent instructions in French and I don't speak French. Thank goodness another guest was leaving and although they spoke French they took me to my room and showed me how to get in. I loved the place though and it was a great deal for the price. I'd definitely stay there again."
