"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. "This property is disgusting. From the moment of checking in, it gave me hostel vibes when the TV remote and 2 towels were handed at the front desk, but it only got worse. Booked prepaid through Expedia but the hotel charged my card again and refused to refund despite proof of payment; staff were dismissive ('I can't believe anyone who walks through this door') and the room smelled like a dirty dog. Would not recommend."

"The apartment perfectly situated; within an easy walk to Carcassonne Castle. It is about 10 mins walk from the market squares and restaurants. Across the road from the accommodation is a street full of restaurants and cafes. There were craft stalls Fridays during August. At the end of this street you can walk over the old footbridge to the main town. Carcasonne is an ideal base from which to explore the Occitanie region. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and excellent value with integral A/C, balcony, secure free parking, EV charging point and towels provided. The kitchen was well equipped apart from not having a cook’s knife or cafeteria to brew our own coffee. Staff were excellent and spoke English. Breakfast and dinner are offered on site for an additional price. Would highly recommend!"

"Old hotel which could use some modernization. The rooms on the ground floor had a nice little terrace but if the doors slammed in the corridor the room would shake. Plus, we had a neighbour who smoked cigars outside our window, so made the room smell. The team moved us to a great quiet room, which was appreciated."

"The perfect hotel for a quick stop in Carcassonne. Very convenient location across the bridge from the village walls. The staff was very helpful and kind from the moment we arrived until we checked-out. Handy with the private parking around the corner of the hotel, but remember to reserve a spot in advance as it is small. We booked the panoramic suite which was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel also has a pool and restaurant on site, but we did not use these during our stay. The garden area outside is also beautiful and well kept. We would absolutely come back to this property upon our next visit to Carcassonne."

"Chambres vieillottes, salle de bain extrêmement compacte. Je fait 5’3” et mes jambes passent juste entre le lavabos et bol de toilette. Attention les longues jambes! Tapis partout et odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. Le + tout à côté de la forteresse 2 minutes à pieds. Très jolie terrasse avec vue sur la forteresse. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et serviable. Stationnement disponible à l’hôtel avec code d’accès. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et on vient vous le servir à votre table."
