"This was the third hotel we stayed at in Oxford, and it was by far the best. From the moment we arrived, with a clearly marked parking space ready for us, the service was attentive and helpful throughout our brief stay. The interior décor blends classic elegance with modern touches, including some beautiful contemporary paintings. Our room had a wonderfully comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, and a breathtaking view over the High Street and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. If it weren’t for the modern traffic below, it would have felt like stepping back in time. While it was windy and dark outside, the hotel’s warm, peaceful atmosphere made us feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast in The Quad Restaurant was excellent – a perfect way to start the day. A truly great hotel that we would be happy to return to. "

"I had a day meeting down Norham Gardens and Summerton is walkable. This is a hotel that is high spec in many ways but is cheap because there are no extras like breakfast. I like Gail's and there is one across the road for baked eggs then walk it off:) Since I just want a comfortable night's sleep this is the perfect place for me and I returned..."

"Quiet, cozy, comfortable, clean room. Very Oxford vibe, old construction. Incredible location in heart of city center but on a quiet street so you really feel tucked away inside. Service was great, and responsive. There is not a permanent attendant like at most hotels, it was quite old tech with a lockbox and just the key sitting in a bowl in the reception area. I would stay again for sure. "
