Visited area for concert and zoo in Omaha. The house stayed cool the while time. The water in the shower was awesome pressure and hot. 1st time using VRBO and communication was outstanding. Recommend highly. The 4 of us and 2 dogs ( Yes, awesome we could have the dogs) had a excellent stay.
Son is at UNL and bought younger brother to town for them to hangout and game. House was comparable in cost with hotel room with advantage of being able to shut myself off in another room and them being able to play all night. House is convenient to food, campus and interstate.
House was easy to find, location was a nice neighborhood. The house was as described, but the bathroom definitely needs a little updating. The house was clean and properly supplied.
I honestly don’t know how this place is even listed. The house was gross, unkept, and looked like nobody had cleaned it in forever. I found roaches in multiple spots, and the whole place had that grimy, sticky feeling that tells you you’re better off keeping your shoes on inside.
House is definitely small (800 sq ft). Queen Bed was ok; was a bit stiff at times, but did not disturb night's sleep. Decor and items were a bit dated. Lots of plugs and outles for charging electronics. Keurig coffee maker was not working, but did let owner know so should be replaced before next guest. Toilet leaked slightly but not noticeable. Good sized kitchen and pantry area for buying food. I think it would sleep 4 pretty comfortably with the queen bed and bunk beds. Drawers in queen bed room had items in there so could not take advantage of unpacking. It is definitely a cozy house with 70's character. Owner was really nice and responsive to questions. Check in process was smooth. Would definitely recommend this house for 4 or fewer people.
Cozy, Clean, and Convenient Near Downtown and Stadium
The space was just as described and worked well for our stay. It’s not fancy or high-end, but it’s definitely cozy and comfortable. The location was super convenient—easy access to the interstate, downtown, and the stadium. It’s right off Cornhusker Highway, so you do hear a bit of traffic, but it didn’t bother us.The house fit three of us comfortably. More than that and it might start to feel a little tight. Based on earlier reviews, we brought some extra toilet paper, and for a 4-night stay, we were glad we did. There were plenty of extra blankets, which was a nice touch. One suggestion: if the basement ever gets finished, adding a washer and dryer down there would be awesome. We didn’t bring pets, but we noticed there were pet beds and bowls available for guests who do. There’s also a yard that’s great for walking your dog. The house smelled fresh and was clean when we arrived—no pet odors or hair anywhere.

Worth the Price
This is a cute house that is very accessible by the highway and our preferred grocery stores. The hostess was quick to answer questions and provide additional information we needed. The house was worth every penny! There is some deferred maintenance in the bathroom, and there were 3-4 air fresheners. I'm sensitive to smells, and the home is only 800sf, but we simply removed them for our stay and pulled them back out once we were leaving. Be aware that this is an older house, so some doorways are lower, the second bedroom door nearly touches the bunkbeds while swinging open, and the front steps are uneven (and a couple are slightly too tall for comfort for my short legs!). Our stay was very good, but accessibility was a problem for my mother-in-law. I am very grateful to the hostess for the value provided with this home!
