The most gorgeous boutique hotel, every area was outstanding, clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely helpful and attentive staff. Superb bedroom, white linen , lovely, very comfortable bed. Super huge shower, with white fluffy towels, and Elemis lotions and soaps. Only wish I had, had breakfast included, and been staying longer.

Very pleasant weekend away at the White Hart hotel. Our room, number 104, was very comfortable with the only exception being the the early morning delivery’s were directly beneath our window.

Fantastic hotel - bang in the centre of the town

Beautiful hotel - lovely room with area for the bed and then a lounge area. Bathroom is super spacious with a bath and separate shower. Great atmosphere in the bar, like a sing-a-long duo belting out bangers and basically the whole bar joining in and having a little dance. Just across the street from entrance to Leeds Castle when we attended a music concert. Very impressed by Lincoln itself.

Very characterful hotel in the nicest part of town

A lovely hotel right next to the Cathedral. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. No air-con in our room so it was very warm and we needed to keep the windows open. Very little outside noise to bother us though. Parking wasn’t a problem as the car park (and several others) were close by. Would highly recommend this hotel if you like to stay somewhere with character.

Another lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of historic Lincoln. A short walk from both the Castle and Cathedral. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. However, we had a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast in the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city.

Fantastic hotel

Wow!! The White Hart is a super special gem in a historic building. My room and bathroom were large and decorated to a high standard and the bed was fantastic!! Every member of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and you can tell they all enjoy working there. I added breakfast to the room rate and there were so many choices to choose from. If you are a breakfast eater, this is something you should consider. There are also numerous bars in the hotel and the bar staff were fantastic too!! The hotel location is amazing and literally steps from the cathedral and steep hill. Highly recommend The White Hart hotel and I can’t wait to return very soon!!

Weekend stay in Lincoln

Was an amazing place to stay. I couldn't fault anything. Will certainly go back. I know that area well and the hotel is just right for visiting the castle and cathedral.

Brilliant location for the Castle and Cathedral. Lincoln centre is walkable but you may need the walk and ride bus to get back up Steep Hill. Bathroom size was huge with a separate bath and rainfall shower. Toiletries were first class (Elemis). Great value for money considering room size, proximity to shops, pubs and restaurants in the beautiful Bailgate area. We will be back for more of the same….

Two night, great location, dog friendly.

Couldnt get a better location for the castle and the cathedral. Service was fantastic with polite and enthusiastic staff. Very dog friendly which was brilliant for us. Used room service one night which was comprehensive and quick. Breakfast is well stocked all morning and hot options were delicious. We had a great view of the cathedral from our room. Only minor complaint was that the room was a little hot with no visible option to turn off towel heater. Hotel parking needs to be booked in advance but there is a very large public car park nearby which is just under £10 for 24 hours and can be managed through paybyphone.

Good stay , very clean , comfortable bed . Room was a bit tired and bathroom could do with an update but other than that no complaints . Had a cocktail in bar which was excellent and breakfast service , food and choice was good . Would stay again

Great weekend stay

The staff and hotel are excellent. Cleaners very friendly and nothing too much for them. The only thing was building work but this will make the hotel better, and we have to put up with a little noise for it to be completed. Breakfast is fantastic, we had special treats in our room. Will definitely be staying again.

Shame about the view

Hotel was lovely but we were given a very small room which literally had the kitchen fans outside of our window. You could also hear the music in the restaurant until gone 11pm.
