"This is a great little stuidio apartment for two people to stay. It has all the amenities you need and is cozy and warm. It is within walking distance of everything in Stonington. Host is great as well."

"A lovely quaint apartment. Easy to find and easy access. Area was very quiet and peaceful, even with the nearby restaurant open. If you don't like stairs look elsewhere, especially with the bathroom at the bottom of the stairs. However, if you love idyllic villages by the ocean and peaceful morning walks with amazing views then this is your place. The pictures are accurate, the kitchen well furnished, and there is a blind for the skylight. My only complaint would be the tv is in an awkward place...

"This property is a nice, peaceful walk to downtown. The apartment had everything we needed and was in great condition. It was not a problem for us, but be aware you need to be able to walk up spiral stairs to get to the bathroom and bedrooms."

"Down East day trip locale perfected! Bring your whole family and rent all three suites. The hosts have accomplished absolute magic in their herculean efforts to make this building a draw for the town. They succeeded wildly, with only a few new-lodging quirks to work out. The design is just enough, with subtle details somehow receding into the character of the moment rather than feeling obvious and cliché. We have been waiting for years to see what might be accomplished here, with not high hopes....

"We had a great time staying at this location. The listing was correct. Everything was clean, well thought-out, and thorough. The layout of the space was funky (as are most old houses in Maine) but useful. We had no issues with heat, water, electricity, internet, or anything else. Cabinets, shelves, and drawers were labeled for ease of finding things. It was well-stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, and the like. Appliances were functional. "A great place to stay. Clean, convenient, a beautiful view, and a responsive host that has thought of everything. I love that they had French press coffee (as well as keurig if that’s more your style) this allowed me to enjoy mornings overlooking the harbor without leaving to find my morning pick me up. I forgot soap/shampoo, no problem there’s a dispenser in the shower. I will definitely being staying here again when coming to see family. The only thing I would mention as something to think of...

"This was our fourth vacation trip to the mid-coast Maine area. We thought we would take a chance at staying on a beach front property. I failed to realize that the location was directly on a major highway with very heavy car and truck traffic. Because the apartment has no air conditioning, it was necessary to keep windows open to allow for air circulation. It was impossible to shut out the heavy traffic noise which made sleeping very difficult until the wee hours of the morning. The heavy truck...

"Visiting with family while enjoying a vacay away from traffic and the busyness of the touristy areas. The 2 br with full kitchen was perfect fir my cousin and I. The views and salt air were wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside for some people might be that the accommodations were on the 2nd floor. It was not a problem for us. The host was very helpful and the apt was well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean. We loved our stay and hope to come...
