"The hotel has a fantastic location right on the lake, and the property itself is certainly unique. However, several practical issues affected our stay.
The rooms became very stuffy during the hot summer days, and since there is no air conditioning or fan in the room, it was difficult to cool them down at night. The windows also lack mosquito screens, which makes it hard to leave them open for air circulation.
There are not many amenities to speak of, although the breakfast and the restaurant overall are very good and priced accordingly.
Overall, while the property has a special charm and a beautiful lakeside setting, we felt that it did not offer particularly good value. We stayed for five days because we had a prepaid arrangement; otherwise, we probably would have moved to a different property. It is a unique place, but for us, three days would have been enough."
