Loved the view of the mountains and the valley! Very comfortable home with everything we needed - hot tube, firepit, electric fireplace in the dining room, full kitchen, and very comfy beds. Plus we got to bring our pup! Definitely would stay again.
We had a great stay at this property celebrating our anniversary. We enjoyed hanging out under the stars by the fire pit and the hot tub. The property is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from a few wineries. Highly recommend!
Host was helpful and responsive. Amenities were good (except water pressure was low), the toiletries available was a nice touch. Appreciated the kitchen being stocked with basics, including the brita filter. Directions for things in the house were clear and helpful.
Our family stayed one night on the way home from vacation. The cabin was a great place to access the National Park and caves! It was well furnished and had everything we needed!
Quiet and peaceful with amazing mountain views. Victor and Elena should teach a class on informational content at rentals because all of the helpful instructions at the property were appreciated. Lots of hiking trails and restaurants within a short driving distance. I highly recommend the burgers at Spelunkers! We traveled with our yellow lab and she loved it. Thank you to our hosts for a memorable vacation.
My family of 4 stayed here to do some hiking in The Shenandoah National Park and absolutely loved our stay. Elena and Victor have thought of every detail, from the toiletries and welcome basket to the hot tub and towels. Best of all, the view is stunning!
Such an ideal property- clean, stunning view, organized, generous hosts… Elena and Victor really have this property well organized with all switches labeled so you don’t have to click around trying to figure things out. Instructions for the hot tub and the coffee machine were also clear and easy to follow, when we had a question we got an almost immediate response…truly an ideal and relaxing time on the mountain. Would love to stay again!!!
Everyone was delighted with the house and the views. The house was clean and we truly appreciated the genuine dog friendly accommodation. So many other places claim dog friendly but only allow one or two dogs 20lbs and under. We are a dog family and had three pooches, two 40lbs and one 9lbs. Rooms were spacious and while there is only on bathroom it is updated.
My wife and I rented this cabin for one week to get away from DC with our four-month old baby, and we had an amazing time! The house boasts truly majestic views, thoughtful and convenient amenities (copious charging spots, QR codes for WiFi access, extra HDMI cable for gaming console, etc.), and lived up to our expectations in every way! The space was clean and well kept, tastefully decorated, and felt "homey" in a way that few rental properties do. We made extensive use of the fire pit and the Jacuzzi as well. The cabin is also close to numerous wineries/vineyards, breweries, caverns, hiking trails, and other attractions. If you're looking to experience all the Shenandoah has to offer, most especially the laid back pace of life, I'd strongly recommend this rental!
Hosts are responsive and considerate. A cool jug of water and a bottle of wine and snacks were nice surprises on a hot summer day. To be honest it was not the most comfort house we’ve rented. But the property is very well maintained and is made to its best. You could tell how much thought the hosts have put in and it makes you smile noticing those little details. They have the BEST instructions. I hope every rental has that.Wish they had washer and dryer though. We were caught by a heavy shower. Now that I am writing about it, I am not sure. We were on our way home and stayed for only one night. I didn’t really look for them. Maybe they are hidden somewhere?Back yard is gorgeous. We didn’t spend time there but the view alone is great.
WOW - this is a gorgeous little cabin in the heart of wine country. My husand and I stayed for a few days with our dog, and were amazed at how lovely and well appointed the house was. Everything was modern and updated, not to mention super clean and cute. There are so many ammenities, it's hard to list them all, but everything was very well thought out by the owners. From the towels hanging by the door for the hottub, to the bespoke little signs throughout which gave instructions for things in an upscale way, to the dog bowls and treats for our pup. Plus, they had provided some snacks and a bottle of wine for our arrival - a very nice touch! And I am not kidding about this being in the middle of wine country - there are many wineries within 20 minutes from the house, some closer! We didn't get to use the outside fire pit, becuase it was pretty cold and windy, but we did enjoy gazing at the stars at night from the hottub. There is only one bathroom, but it was perfect for the two of us. We hope to go back when it's warmer, and explore the area more!
We loved our stay at Victor & Elena's cabin! They were easy to communicate with and responded fast. The cabin was accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. Will definitely book with them in the future!
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is cozy, clean, and we’ll appointed. The large windows inside provide amazing views in both the living room and the adjoining bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. Stargazing from the comfort of the hot tub was our favorite part of our stay. And the icing on the cake ….. one deer after another crossing the property while we were outside! We would be delighted to stay here again.
