Our lovingly furnished cottage, nestled among wild blueberry fields on our 2,000-acre farm on Lindsay Lake, is the perfect place to unwind and relax, explore the Canadian wilderness, or get a glimpse into our daily farm life. We moved from Germany to Nova Scotia in 2020 to fulfill our lifelong dream, and we’ve called Lindsay Lake Farms home ever since.

The Moose River Cottage, formerly an old farmhouse, has been extensively renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. Each piece of furniture has its own story to tell; some have been in the family for a very long time and made the journey across the pond with us. The paintings on the walls are also cherished memories of a special artist in the family. They add a special touch of color to the rooms. Moose River Cottage is an extraordinary place with a unique, cozy atmosphere.

A fully equipped kitchen with a great view of the blueberry fields inspires you to cook delicious meals with local ingredients, and the dining room is the perfect place to celebrate shared meals with family and/or friends. The living room invites you to linger and relax. On the first floor are the tastefully furnished bedrooms (2 double beds, 2 single beds) and the bathroom. A glance out the window reveals a view of the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley.

Lindsay Lake is nestled in the heart of our farm and offers complete privacy. As guests of our cottage, you’ll have exclusive access to the lake. Enjoy the beauty of unspoiled nature, swim in the lake’s crystal-clear waters, or relax on the shore. Lindsay Lake is the perfect place to escape the daily grind and unwind surrounded by nature.

We provide bed linens and towels for your stay.
