Good overall, would stay again

Really good stay. Room was huge, staff very friendly. Only drawback was the mattress sank below the bed frame making it hard to get in and out. Breakfast was fantastic

Lovely room. Nice view. Always boats moving past. Good food and bar. Really nice staff. Decent spa and pool. Very good free parking. Our room didn’t have air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem for us. Lovely walks for many miles alongside the canal and river.

No wifi nor data connectivity

No parking space for one small car, although had 2 rooms. No instructions for wifi access at check in, wifi access didn’t work in room, although it did work in other parts of the hotel. Night Shift at reception declared they had no knowledge about it. Morning shift said they were sorry and there were plans to upgrade. Att choses the plan my phone uses on their international plan and that plan had super low data rates. So effectively we were all off line during our stay here. Bedside has no outlets to plug in phone, have to string cable across floor, tripping hazard for using bathroom. Breakfast was great!!! Setting is truly exceptional!

Vorab: Ich besuche jeden Monat mindestens 10 Hotels und kann daher immer gut vergleichen, da es immer im selben Preis Segment ist. Zum Aufenthalt: Beim einchecken, verlief alles reibungslos. Erstes Problem, die Zimmer Tür ließ sich mit der Karte nicht öffnen, also wieder zurück zur Rezeption, neue Karte bekommen, der Mitarbeiter ist dann mit zum Zimmer gekommen und mit der neuen Karte ging die Tür auch nicht auf. Mir wurde dann erstmal die Tür mit seiner Karte geöffnet. Da stellte ich fest, das mir nicht das gebuchte Zimmer gegeben wurde. War eine kleine Diskussion, bis ich dann das richtige Zimmer erhalten habe. Das Zimmer selber ist Top gewesen. Im Badezimmer und im Eingangsbereich vom Hotel roch es nach Abfluss. Das Personal könnte anteilig netter/aufmerksamer und freundlicher sein. An sich ein gutes junges Hotel. An der Freundlichkeit vom Personal kann man arbeiten.

Tolles Hotel mit Blick auf die Ems und das Stauwehr. Sehr freundlicher Service, große Zimmer und ein leckeres Frühstück. Außerdem ein vorzügliches Restaurant zum angenehmen Preis. Sauna und Pool konnten wir leider nicht ausprobieren. Wir würden immer gerne wieder kommen.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gepasst. Das Hotel ist schön ruhig gelegen. Parkplätze auch für große Fahrzeuge vorhanden. Frühstück ist ausreichend.

Fantastik beliggenhed

Det er så udgangspunkt et fantastisk hotel med en enestående beliggenhed. Restauranten er perfekt med et godt køkken og venligt personale. Jeg kunne tænke mig mere bemanding i receptionen - og jeg kunne forestille mig at man installerede aircondition på de værelser der vender mod floden - temperaturen var ulidelig indtil midt på natten. Og så ville det være hensigtsmæssigt at der var mere end en elevator (særligt når den var ude af drift)

Also ich muss ehrlich sagen, ich wollte ein normales Hotel für eine Nacht um eine Messe zu besuchen. Meine erwartungen als auch die meiner Freundin wurden dermaßen übertroffen, dass wir definitiv wieder kommen werden. Das Hotel ist super schön gelegen, alles sauber und das Personal super freundlich. Beim zugebuchten Frühstück konnte ich richtig staunen, dass was dort aufgetischt wurde hätte ich niemals erwartet. 2 kleinere Dinge hätte ich anzumerken, die Matratzen sind schon recht durchgelegen gewesen und am Bett bzw. in der Nähe waren keinerlei Steckdosen. Ansonsten alles super und vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis definitiv eines der besten Hotels die ich je besucht habe.
