"The apartment is right on the hoe. Plenty of places to see. Lots of dog walks. Town centre is walkable too. The apartment itself was lively and clean and bright. The only gripe I had was the people in the upstairs apartment were very heavy footed and made my dogs nervous."

"Regrettably, we had to leave swiftly after the internal security door to our apartment failed and we had an intruder enter our apartment whilst we were in it!! This was very distressing and concerning being a family with a small child. Subsequently , we reported it to the Police (and owner) as internal security failings compromised our stay and we had to leave earlier than planned through fear of who else may have been able to gain access to us and our child. Would never stay here again and has...

"Classic residence, huge spacious and comfortable. Fully self contained with all you need. Great location and amazing views over the outer harbour. Short walk along waterfront to bars and restaurants.
Clean and well maintained. Upper floor, up stairs no elevator. Small bathroom. Exterior under renovation, but did not inconvenience us.
Overall fully recommended, exceeded expectations, would suit family of 4, with space for more if needed.

"We were very happy with the apartment we rented. It had every kitchen appliance we could possibly need, tv in two rooms and boardgames to use. The view was also amazing, though you should be aware that you need to be able to climb to the fourth floor in order to get to the apartment and the view. Nice bathrooms and beds and everything was very tidy and clean. Best suited for a family seeing as the downstairs bed is a doublebed and then there's two single beds on a second floor under the roof....

"Great week spent mostly watching activities in the bay and on the Hoe from the apartment balcony. Well equipped kitchen, open plan excellent. Bedrooms comfortable and overall a great experience. Would definitely return."

"We had a lovely stay at the Summerhouse, fantastic location and a plus with the parking. Everything was spot on but if I was to be picky a few more hangers would have been good and the bottom 2 drawers were too stiff to use in the bedroom."

"Clean room, staff polite and helpful, but there was no safe or lockable area to secure items, plus the floor tiles in 332 were needing to be fixed and the tiles were loose"
"The welcome was amazing, the hotel is the home of the owner who makes a point of greeting his guests. It is a Victorian building of immense character in a stunning position on top of a headland and next to Tintagel Castle. The views are incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable with open sea views. The dining room is majestic and the saloon is comfortable victorian splender. Finally the staff were simply excellent. We had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!"
"Just stayed for one night at the Moxy last night in a Queen size room but would have certainly been happy to have stayed for longer if required. Just 3 years old, the hotel still looks fresh and well cared for. The place had a happy vibrant buzz with cheerful, polite and friendly staff. The rooms are modern, contemporary and stylish, with firnishings and fittings that maximise the space but are easy on the eye. They contain all you need for a relaxing stay. Perfectly clean with good quality pillows, a comfortable mattress and the whitest fluffiest towels I have seen in a long time.
Conveniently situated for easy walking access to Plymouth city centre, the Barbican and the Hoe with parking both onsite ( small ) or very close by in Brunel Way car park in the road opposite ( 12 hours for £6.50). We didn't eat on site but did use the bar ( great night service) and were told that they could supply us with plates and cutlery if we wanted to order a takeway via Deliveroo. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay again and use the Moxy chain in other cities."
"The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the room was immaculate, really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was amazing ! Lots to choose from, will definitely stay again!"
"Generally our stay was good but a few things let the hotel down a little. When checking in there weren’t enough staff on reception so it meant we were waiting for a while. Some of the staff seemed a little mardy, and not just with us but with other customers too. The shower in our room wasn’t powerful at all and struggled to get up to temperature, if at all. We thought the hotel looked a bit tired around the edges as well. But if you’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Plymouth that’s close to things to do then this is a good choice. Just be aware that it might not tick all your boxes."
"I was charged twice. First by Hotels.com and then again at checkin at the hotel. Had to get a refund from hotel. Caused me some stress. Hotel were helpful and polite but system should be looked at please."
