"Rooms were spacious and clean."

"The campsite is spectacular considering the lake view, windy all the the time, it's just the duck poop are the issue. but over all this place is awesome."

"The property was good but it can be improved if you have more washrooms there for people who are there with only tents."

"We had a very comfortable stay."

"Enjoyed my stay"

"Nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean, beds are nice and water is hot."

"Surprisingly comfortable bed slept soundly could not hear any noise from the highway. Good water pressure in the shower… No frills affordable perfect for a hiker in need of the nights rest dog Friendly. He slept well too."

"Calm and beautiful place."

"Great place to stay!"

"Rustic and secluded getaway, perfect for privacy. An hour to The Grotto or Cruise line tours in Tobermory. Spirit rock 10 minutes. Reasonable pricing and gracious host. Small air fryer and hot plate for meals. Shaded."

"The room was very clean, breakfast had a variety of options, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming."

"Room was well maintained & clean. We didn’t saw anyone from staff, but got a chance to be greeted by the owner during check-inn & it was really great to know about the places to wonder in tobermory, so that you just need to go ahead for it. The property has the best lake view from patio & private beach section, where you could have a memorable time with your loved ones."

"Out stay was great"

"It was a very fun experience! The area is very nice and everyone is very friendly ! Would recommend getting a new fridge ( doesn’t keep drinks cold ) and also add proper blinds or curtains for the windows as the sun shines in all day and inside became over 35 C with the air conditioner on sometimes ! Would also recommend more fans if a better AC unit cannot be installed .Property manager was great. Would come back again!"

"A fabulous stay at The Sands"

"Amazing place! It was peaceful, quiet, and very clean. We will definitely book again in the future. Highly recommended!"

"Was not able to check in and the funds were charged on my credit card, the host acted like he was trying to help me by calling Expedia and said they were going to call me back, never received a call back from Expedia and had to call them Back after my 2 night stay. Very disappointed with Expedia, it was a terrible communication they could have tried harder to contact me so that I could resolve the issue quicker."
