"This was the highlight of our trip in Sicily. Everything was perfect, even the little cat that came to say hello on our balcony! The pool was lovely, and the sunrise views from there simply amazing. The only snag was that the pre booked "shuttle" was nearly 30 minutes late picking us up from the port. Apart from that, perfect. Would recommend and certainly stay again"

"Stunning property with incredible architecture and location on cliff side next to see and overlooking the town. Wonderful staff and owner that offered to drive me to the ferry when the taxi was not showing up on time. Good menu for dinner. Great breakfast and unbeatable setting. The only problem was that although they say to preserve water, it takes 10-15 minutes for the water in the shower to get warm. Investing in a new water heating system should be top priority. Even so, I would love to stay there again."

"The place is well located, just minutes from the ferry port. It was easy to find and the hotel had sent great communications before. Reception was good and the check-in quick and helpful with useful info about the islands. Room was big and spacious. It’s an apart hotel so we had a small kitchen area as well as a separate bedroom. Shower room was a bit dated and the shower was a bit small for comfort. Breakfast was fine - reasonable choice of continental breakfast.lipari was beautiful - so glad we stayed. One huge bonus of this hotel was the lovely pool area. Only 6 or 8 sunbeds but the pool and the space was great. A fab choice I think "

"This is a lovely hotel on a hill overlooking the town and castle of Lipari. Our room was comfortable and we had an outdoor seating area with a gorgeous view. The available breakfast option was well worth the money. "

"We spent 8 days on Lipari and the flat was comfortable and in a good location in a quiet, car free street just 10 minutes walk from the Marina Corta in one direction and the main Corso, with supermarket, in the other. The terrace is a great asset with lovely views and a comfortable place to retreat from the afternoon heat. Unfortunately, my husband was unwell but we were able to extend our stay for a couple of days which was a great relief. Giuseppe was very helpful and responded quickly to any requests. We really enjoyed staying in Malvasia, in the heart of the local community, but tucked away from the busy areas. Access may not suit everyone as there are 20 stone steps up to the first floor and a spiral staircase to the terrace but we are in our 70s and coped without any difficulty. I would enthusiastically recommend Malvasia as a great place to stay."
