Great Hotel with easy walk to main attractions.

Hotel Oriente was in a great location. Easy walk to the main street and both of the marinas. Friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. Lovely garden areas and so many museum pieces everywhere to look at. Would choose to stay again on our next visit to the beautiful island of Lipari.

This is an excellent family-owned hotel with fabulous decor just a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's location about 3 minutes from the main street means it's nice and quiet. There is a fabulous breakfast from 7:30 each day. The bar is open (on request) all the time, and someone on the desk 24 hours. The staff are very helpful, with excellent English. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The air conditioner works well as does the shower. The towels were delightful. There is a very nice garden at the back with plenty of tables and chairs and lots of places to sit in the shade. Breakfast can also be taken in the garden. If you want the beach, the hotel will arrange pickup and van to take you to the Lido at Coral Beach to the north. It's a pebble beach. For the trip out and back for two people with sun chairs and umbrellas was 25 Euro. We stayed for two nights. I'd have been happy here for two weeks.

Das Hotel liegt gut , etwa 50 Meter von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß mit Balkon, der allerdings unmöbliert war. Herausragend für italienische Verhältnisse war das Frühstück. Es gab nicht nur Süßes, sondern auch Deftiges, also für jeden etwas dabei. Das Frühstück konnte man im schönen Garten einnehmen. Die Einrichtung des Hotels gleicht im öffentlichen Bereich eher einem Museum, die Zimmer sind dagegen schlicht gehalten. Schade, dass es nur eine Regendusche gab, eine zusätzliche Handbrause finde ich immer besser. Aber das ist Klagen auf hohem Niveau...

L'hotel Oriente è in una posizione ideale per l'isola di Lipari: vicina ai porto di marina Lunga e marina Corta, a due passi delle vie dei negozi e ristoranti più In dell'isola. Gode di una posizione tranquilla e fuori dal caos. L'hotel Oriente è anche un museo che contiene gli oggetti più svariati raccolti in anni dall'antico proprietario: attrezzi da lavoro agricolo, carretti tipici siciliani, pupi, mobili, tavoli di ceramiche, statue, oggetti 'utili' prima della legge Merlin del 1958. Non mancano i sarcofaghi in pietra lavica. Il personale è disponibile e cortese, se volete provare a metterli in difficoltà chiedete loro come venivano usati i vari attrezzi/arredi (scegliete i più strani o esotici). Esperienza indimenticabile.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due e ci é stata fornita una camera tripla per comodità con uno stupendo terrazzino in cui consumare le nostre colazioni e i nostri aperitivi. La zona colazione si apre su un giardino interno davvero carino. Disponibilità e cordialità del personale spiccata.

Hotel centrale e accogliente

L'hotel oriente è in posizione centrale a Lipari, in traversa del corso principale ma in posizione poco più appartata e silenziosa. Sembra un piccolo museo di antichi arnesi, mobili, pupi siciliani e sul retro un agrumeto. Il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile, molto simpatico il sig. Antonello! La stanza è semplice ma dotata di ogni comfort: asciugacapelli, bagno abbastanza ampio con doccia e bidet con diverse mensole, frigo in camera. Ottima la pulizia. Unico neo poche prese della corrente e porta un po' leggera per cui in presenza di ospiti della struttura un po' meno silenziosi si può essere un po' disturbati dai rumori. Comunque ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Un hotel très original, sympa et bien tenu au coeur de la ville, avec un jardin très agréable et quelques chambres avec terrasse donnant sur celui-ci. Une clim et des douches efficaces bien que spartiates. Pas de wifi dans la chambre (il suffit d'aller dans le jardin).

Una vacanza molto rilassante, lipari è cordiale e affettuosa con i suoi vacanzieri. L'hotel è particolare per posizione e per ambiente. Sembra di stare in un agriturismo con tutti gli alberi e le piante intorno. Per la qualità di hotel che si vede in giro a lipari questo è abbastanza confortevole. Magari avrei preferito una maggiore pulizia delle lenzuola. Una nota molto importante è il box doccia, immenso!

Great atmosphere close to nature!

Incredible garden where also breakfast is served. Very clean rooms and location is very central. Nice breakfast with good coffe. When coming back to Lipari I will book this hotel again :)

Lovely place, like staying in a museum

We loved the quirkiness of the place, which was kept extremely clean, despite all the interesting artefacts which could have been potential dust gatherers. Very helpful staff, who gave useful tips on exploring the area and organised a hire car for us (which was delivered within minutes). Good, extensive breakfast buffet - the best on our trip.

Hôtel musée des outils anciens

Decor extraordinaire des murs de tous les espaces communs avec de vieux outils d'artisans et autres beaux objets. Accueil agréable en français et de bonnes infos ( scooter,obsidienne ).belle chambre et très bon Dej .le matin du départ il pleuvait : on nous a mené au port en voiture pour le bateau.Acces proche à la rue principale.tres bon souvenir !
