This hotel was really interesting as it is set in a small ancient town near Avignon but is elegantly decorated, comfortable and with very helpful management. We couldn't believe the special touches throughout and lovely artwork - a real find worth the short drive from the motorway at a reasonable price. Breakfast was a also a masterpiece served in a unique setting.

This was my second stay here. Very quietly located in the town close to good restaurants, bars and sights. Walking distance to train station. Room very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast buffet very good with a good choice of food and hot coffee. I enjoyed my week here very much.

This hotel was the highlight of our Provence trip. The owner and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They are generous on their servings. The location of the hotel is perfec for both local and for day trips. There’s a map on the wall with recommend place for those like us who do road trips. We stayed 3 nights and wanted to stay longer. I loved this place. It felt very French countryside. The owners were very kind and hospitable and made every day a true pleasure. The dining experiences were wonderful also. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel 1770 & Spa served as our home base during the week we spent visiting Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont du Gard, Arles, and Nimes. Sandine, the Hotel Manager, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent host

After touring Avignon, we would recommend this hotel. Quick check-in, easy parking, and pleasant staff. We loved our room, with balcony and comfortable table and chair, overlooking a garden-like yard. The pool was lovely too.

We had a lovely stay at this charming little B&B in Avignon, run by a very kind and warm-hearted couple. Neither of the owners spoke fluent English, but we were able to communicate perfectly well using a translation app. I also did my best to practice my elementary French, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. A well-run small hotel located very near the Avignon historic landmarks. The operator is very dedicated to his business and provides bed and breakfast style personal attention and local advice. He is very English-speaker friendly.

This hotel is a remodeled farm house. They did an excellent job. The rooms are simple but very functional. Great beds, outstanding shower and hot water and after a long day sightseeing, we didn't have to look for a restaurant. They have an excellent menu choice with every day new suggestions. It's a 10 min drive to Avignon we choose this because of the quiet location and the restaurant . It was easy to discover the Provence from here.
