We had a great stay! The staff went above and beyond even when our booking was a bit confusing. We were to check out before our breakfast and they packed it for us to take to the airport. We will definitely be back!

First-class hotel for a Lisbon city break We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Real Palácio. It’s an excellent choice for a city break, particularly because of its location — São Sebastião Metro is only a few minutes’ walk away, with a direct connection to Lisbon Airport. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless, and the staff were friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. One thing that really stood out was the bar, unlike many 5-star hotels, the prices were actually very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was superb. There was a huge choice available, with plenty of hot and cold options, and everything was fresh and well presented. We genuinely couldn’t fault it. The only downside during our two-night stay was that the sauna wasn’t working, which was a little disappointing, particularly as it’s one of the hotel’s advertised facilities. We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a lovely 5-star hotel, in a great location, with excellent staff, a fantastic breakfast and good value for money.

The fridge didn’t work and we had call someone to look at it. They turned up and said they would come the following day but didn’t turn up. Also the safe was broken so we could put our personal items in there for the last couple of days. The room floor wasn’t fully cleaned either. The staff in reception were really helpful though

Great location for a quiet and peaceful stay, away from busy areas but still close to attractions like Parque Eduardo VII. Easy access to everything. Rooms are comfortable, and while the hotel isn’t modern, it has a nice classic Lisbon charm. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Nice looking hotel and in a good location near the metro. Staff were polite and helpful but everything seemed to take forever. Checking in about 20 minute wait. 25 minute waiting for drinks from the bar! The room was clean and nice enough. Supply a nice coffee machine and kettle but you need to move it to find a plug. Ended up having to set it up on the floor. Worst of all on 2 occasions we had no hot water for the shower which isn’t ideal when you’re leaving to catch a flight at 5am. Definitely not 5 stars
