There was an unexpected long flight of stairs to get to the elevator, but the staff helped get luggage to the elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with air conditioning, clean, spacious and a view of Lisboa rooftops. The rooftop deck is where the included breakfast buffet was served. We enjoyed the coffee, food and expansive view which included St. George's Castle on the high hill. The rooftop was also a great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The location is excellent for walking up the hill for fado, shopping, dining, great views, or to the river area to catch Tram 28, a tour boat or to wander, eat and shop.

Good hotel in Lisbon center

A very nice hotel in the center of Lisbon! Theron was very spacious for 4 persons with a 2 person bed and 2 single beds. Breakfast was very good on the rooftop with magnificent views over Lisbon. Recommended when you want to stay in the city center in close range of all busses and restaurants. There was a language elevator but not really intended for people. Some rooms are on the 4th or 5th floor.

The staff were very friendly and were helpful in accommodating for an early check-in as well as securing two cribs for us. The place is ideal considering it has multiple restaurants nearby (the property itself has a restaurant), Placa de Rossio is right around the corner, and a metro station is only a few min walking. Would stay here again.

Really liked the room in this property. Was exceeded clean. Great location. My only issue would be that there are loads of stairs (not mentioned before booking) with one small lift that could only take one person at a time and also took an absolute age to go up and down.

Great location for a stay in Lisbon. We only stayed overnight but it was super comfortable and quiet. Our room had Aircon which was a blessing amidst the summer heat. Didn't realise breakfast was included - it wasn't amazing but it was good and kept us going.

Conveniently located artistic boutique hotel

Great, quirky boutique hotel in the heart of town. No lift so need to be aware of the many steps to reach your room with luggage. Not much assistance from staff. Breakfast limited. So, would book without this option as plenty of options to eat outside. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Little noisy as in town. But worth the location as it is so convenient.

This was mixed. Location: Excellent. Breakfast: excellent. My bed was comfortable. What wasn't so good were the stairs. There were no plugs really for charging phones and things. They advertise the rooftop for dinner and drinks, but the manager turns people away saying everything is reserved and yet you could be in and out well before the reservation arrives. We did get wine and appetizers and the wine was awful. The salad and appetizer not great either. The shower was hard to figure out. If you are young this hipster hotel would likely be a good fit but for my parents in their 80s it was a bit rough.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at the art in! It was central to many things to walk to such as a Rossio Square, the elevator, and the commercio Square by the river port. We enjoyed the hotel very much! We certainly do appreciate the help with our luggage being taken to our fifth floor room. we did have to plan each day when we left the room to make sure to pack up everything we needed! We did not want to have to climb the stairs back to our room for something forgotten! The Buffet breakfast was plenty with many selections. The gourmet, coffee machine was superb! The staff, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooftop experience was beautiful!

Leider wurde nicht ausreichend hingewiesen, das man bis zur Rezeption seinen Koffer 20 Stufen hinauf tragen muss. Zum Aufzug der nur über 10 weitere Stufen nach oben zu erreichen ist, kann man aber nur in den 4 Stock fahren. Wer im 3 oder 5 Stock wohnt muss das Gepäck entweder ein Stockwerk hoch oder hinunter tragen. Das Personal beim Frühstück war nicht wirklich motiviert. Ein “Guten Morgen’ war nicht zu erwarten. Die Teller waren oft schmutzig und man musste aus einem Stapel, einen sauberen heraus suchen. 4 Tage keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück. Immer das gleiche Obst, immer die gleiche Wurst. Tische standen teilweise 30-45min mit schmutzigen Geschirr auf der Terrasse.

The property is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon. The staff were a little indifferent to our needs. Three of us sharing a room and whilst a little thing the tea and coffee was only set up for two despite asking at reception twice. We replenished our tea bags from the all inclusive breakfast only to find on our return from shopping that housekeeping had had removed them taking us back to only two tea bags for the day! The towels and bedding were clean. Breakfast was poor. Lukewarm and limited hot options particularly for the vegetarian in our group. Basically only egg for her!
