The building is old and needs updated badly. The room showed signs of being very old and not professionally maintained. Faucets leaked, carpet old, bathroom tub left a lot to be desired. Overall I would stay there again, very family friendly. Just understand it is an older hotel."

"Ennis is a beautiful village and Old Ground is right in the middle. Poet's Corner is excellent. My wife said her meal was the best of any meal she had on a 2 week visit to Ireland and Scotland. Bed slept like a dream. Staff was helpful. Ever a property cat at the door to welcome you to the hotel."

"The hotel itself is very clean and upscale, and the room was better than expected for the price. Just about every staff member we interacted with from reception to maid services to breakfast hall was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. The bed was quite comfortable and larger than other king beds in Ireland (seemed closer to an American king size). "The beds were very comfy and loved the location. Great water pressure and tub. Also the window was very big so it let in a lot of natural light. However, the bed sheets were a bit scratchy, and you couldn’t adjust the water temperature unless you were in the tub. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the water temperature for the shower, but that could be user error. I wish the bathroom had some hooks. But all in all, a very good stay. Will recommend to others."

"The staff at reception were very welcoming and efficient. The 'deluxe' room overlooked the golf course. The bedroom was dated but the superking bed was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very disappointing, quite dated with limescale and mould on taps and shower head. The shower curtain was mouldy and bath mat clean but discoloured with age. I've stayed in better premier Inn rooms. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast."

"One of the best breakfasts we had on the trip. Located directly across from the beach, following our surf lessons which was perfect. We stayed in one of the cottages at the back and it was exceptionally spacious for a family of four. We would’ve liked to have stayed longer, but we were moving on to another area of the country."
