"Hubby and I were long overdo for a getaway. A last minute decision had us looking for a cozy weekend cabin and this place fit the bill. We were delighted with this little retro A-Frame! My husband loves retro style and I am happy with anything cozy. This place suited both of our tastes. We loved watching the sunrise over the lake in the morning and sipping coffee on the deck. "Lake Augusta cabins are a wonderful retreat perfectly situated. An hour from Minneapolis period period we stayed 3 different times this summer. Each time we've had more wonderful experiences and met new friends. Max It is an outstanding host! He's super responsive and enthusiastic, and he is constantly improving this charming and welcoming property! We are already planning our time there next year!!!"

"The pictures do not do this place justice. We had a magical stay here on the lake. The view is absolutely stunning and there are windows everywhere you look. We used the kayaks and paddleboard as much as we could. There’s corn hole and other games and tons of outside seating to enjoy the view. Kids were occupied either fishing from the dock, enjoying the water, or playing in the game room. From the house you can see a nice sunrise and sunset and even see the reflection of the moon on the water....

"Overall: This property did exactly what it was meant to do- allow us to relax and enjoy eachothers company for a week! Cons of our stay though- The water is not swimmable, we had to travel to a near by lake to actually go swimming. The house did not include a table, so it was hard to play our card games. The kitchen included a breakfast bar with stools for eating meals but not great for playing games. The week that we stayed was the hottest of the year... no ones fault, just ended up that way....

"It was a great stay, the cabin/house was really nice and modern. It's even bigger and better than the pictures show. Finished garage/game room was awesome and got a lot of use. The cabin was well stocked, paper towels, coffee, utensils, etc. The back patio overlooking the lake was huge and the view was great. I would highly recommend this property."

"I stayed at this property with a group of girlfriends from all over the Midwest for a girl’s weekend. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out with lots of good sleeping and inside and outside hanging out spaces. The beds and couches were all perfect for sleeping and the provided bedding and towels were perfect. Large deck and open floor plan made meal times with a group seamless. We spent most of the day...
