"Loved the peaceful and isolated setting. Exactly as described. Our only complaints were: 1. There were a few Asian beetles which really surprised us since it is winter and 2. The front door had no key or entrance keypad, so if you wanted to leave and lock the house, you would always have to go through the garage using the garage door opener and then entry to the house through the attached garage. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The steps to the upstairs are a little in the steeper side, but when you get up to the huge master bedroom with attached bathroom, you forget about that lol. We would definately stay again! Very peaceful"

"Wonderful, clean and comfortable house with everything that we needed for a girlfriend weekend. We had a very relaxing stay, loved the view and although it was cold outside, we were cozy and warm inside. Our host was quick to respond and made our stay a very memorable one! We would definitely stay again! "

"This is a very older motel with I am sure with original furniture. The pillows on the bed very flat! The lamps questionable if you can turn them off or on and stay. Minimal outlets. No continental breakfast, there is coffee sometimes, the culligan style water bottle is room temperature in the lobby. Did not go into the pool area. Had to check to be the toilet so it was not continuous run. Did not need to use the shower in the room. I believe the upper level rooms are rented. The staff people are helpful telling about places to eat and always polite. The room was clean. "

"From the time we booked and all the way through our stay we had lots of questions and Christina was right there to answer them. We stayed during a blizzard so we couldn't be outside but we found plenty to do inside. Christina provided extra chairs and tables so we could play games. We had our family Christmas and we had everything we needed. Some of our family went ice fishing right off their shore. Christina's husband John offered advice about the fishing. We didn't catch anything but we had fun trying. John also helped dig us out on our last day. The place is by no means new, but she's got character!!!"

"The property was comfortable and cozy. It was right on the lake. The check-in process was efficient and easy. The town of Litchfield was literally a few minutes away and everything we needed for our stay was already provided. I would have given it a 5 star rating, except it was a bit chilly at night in certain bedrooms. Overall, we enjoyed it and would stay in this property again."

"Mark was very accommodating and the cabins had space for everyone and the place was beautiful with a great view of the lake. The pontoon, hot tub and game room big key features that we loved.Everyone should check out curiosity cabin it’s a really cool and inspiring place to explore for kids and adults! My kids loved all the friendly dogs in the area too! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!"
