"Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. Parking was at front door, it was very busy while we were there so we were lucky to get the park we did, in saying this we did not need the car because we could walk to everything. "Good location for travelling around the Oxford/Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly however, it lacked atmosphere and ambience. We didn’t have breakfast but we did have an evening meal which was okay! Rooms had tea/coffee making facilities but no fridge. Short drive into Chipping Norton and Broadway, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water all in close proximity."
