"We had a wonderful week in Poolewe. The house provides everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. WLAN was perfect for us and our host Hannah was really nice and friendly. If you look for some quiet days in a wonderful location, I can absolutely recommend this house."

"Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own. The other...

"Great place. Views are fantastic.Cottage was very comfortable, clean and good size for 5 of us. A little out of the way of Gairloch @17min drive but no big deal as we were travelling around the area each day. Recommended."

"Wonderful location and an amazing wee place to stay. The hut had everything you need for a stay and was perfect for my stay. The only minor drawback was the steep gravel hill you had to negotiate to get to the hut, so be prepared for that. Beautiful location which is one of the best I’ve stayed in."

The house is very well equipped with everything you might need for comfort, and Gairloch has a surprising number of facilities for a small place - all only a short distance from the cottage.We particularly enjoyed sitting in the house's sunroom and admiring the amazing view.Lyn is an excellent host - welcoming, friendly and informative.
