"Mea , at the front desk, was very helpful and cared that my stay was pleasant, though it was short. I found NuWray easily and was able to park without difficulty. I arrived a little later in the evening, and Mea made sure to check with me so she could be sure someone would be present to check me in. My room was very clean, cozy, and inviting. I appreciated the easy access to water and ice late at night. Though this is a historic building, I found myself insulated from any noise in the hallway - a great bonus for a light sleeper. In all, I would stay at NuWray again and will recommend it in the future. You won’t be disappointed!"

"Wonderful, cozy place to stay. Upstairs bedrooms are like staying overnight at grandparents house…if you are a 70s/80s kid you’ll relate. Super quiet at night. Lots of amenities. Appliances very nice. 215-20 to Biltmore. 5 minutes to town with “hipster” shopping/ eating vibe. You could spend a whole day just walking around all the little local shops. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"When my husband and I first located this Cabin on Vrbo, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Rick Gonsor is the most thoughtful, gracious host.He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The cabin was just perfect! The kitchen contained everything we needed.The bed was so comfortable, bathroom and deck were excellent. Location and views were incredible.Rick had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. The Switzerland Cafe was amazing, and the filet was my personal favorite. Thanks Rick and The Perch for the most romantic and wonderful weekend!We will be back, Stephanie & Chris "
