Everything was exactly as described very clean and very well stocked with anything that you would need plenty of room for everyone we had four adult couples the four bedroom four bathroom was great!! "Just returned from one of the best family vacations. This property is absolutely stunning. The location on the lake was perfect and having the pontoon boat included in the rental was the best. We had an age range from 5-74. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The property managers were great to work with and was quick to respond to any questions. The owners/managers even left a wonder welcome gift of goodies. Highly recommend Oasis on the Lake!"

"The owners, Dennis and Jeannette, are hands-down the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had—and we rent often! Booking, check in, and check out were very easy, and Jeanette communicated with us every step. The space was the perfect size for just the two of us, and exactly what we were looking for: a cozy, well-kept space that wasn’t an oversized house but still had everything we needed.The property is beautifully maintained, and the dock had plenty of space for our boat. Our golden retriever had the time of her life jumping off the dock, chasing sticks in the water, and getting some snuggles from the owners. We came looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly, boat-friendly getaway for our anniversary, and this place delivered in every way. We can’t wait to plan our next visit. "

"We loved our stay at Songbrid Escape! The house is well laid out with lots of amenities. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked with dishes, cookware, and appliances. The beds are very comfortable. The boat dock was my favorite spot! It has great furniture in the sun and shade, a ceiling fan that cut through the heat, a refrigerator and ice maker that was such a perk and lots of floats and kayaks. This is our 4th time to Gaston and this is our favorite house so far. The hosts were very responsive to questions. We will definitely come back here."

"We had a great week (July 2025)! Perfect size house for our family of 6. House was well appointed and maintained. Excellent outdoor areas (boathouse and patio). Fun game room/tv room in basement. Good beds and baths. Loved location near Eaton Ferry Marina and mid-lake. One small downside is the shallow/mucky water off the dock, but you only have to go out a short way to get to great spots for swimming/floating, which we did all day. Owner was very responsive to all my messages, including an emergency service call to fix a/c mid-week (an easy fix). I recommend this house and would stay here again. "
