Sunday night in Liverpool

I arrived late and was greeted warmly. Checking in was quick and easy. Room was nice, clean. Nothing to fault it. Breakfast was a bit poor, not for quality but for the fact it starts at 0730 and there was barely any food. By 0800 they had manage to get half the warm food out, added some pastry’s but I had to leave so no idea how it tastes.

Helpful and friendly staff

We had a very good stay at the Sir Thomas hotel very smooth check in all members of staff very friendly and helpful we asked for an extra sheet with it being hot the lady on reception brought them straight up herself .The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the room was very large our only one little negative was the small wardrobe my long dresses didn’t fit looked like a child’s wardrobe but we managed fine .The breakfast was excellent everything you needed pastries toast cereal and a full hot cooked breakfast. We would definitely recommend and would stay again

Family trip

Staff were wonderful giving me all the information I needed about the hotel and how to travel about on public transport. The lobby and bar were lovely and our triple room was perfect for our one night stay. No aircon but could open the window. Would stay again

Good central location which made the room noisy as we were located at the front of the hotel. Breakfast hit and miss, just warm on the 1st morning but cold on the 2nd morning. Bedrooms are dark and beds are small. Tables outside were mostly broken and wobbly, drinks were expensive from the bar. Would we stay again, unfortunately no.

We enjoyed our stay - hotel was lovely. However breakfast wasn't very organised. We had to ask for some of the items - bread, butter, cutlery, water. The staff didnt seem to be checking that items were always replenished. One of the days the food was cold - the flames had gone out on burners. Trying to get coffee out of the jug took forever - it was like a workout having to press the button multiple times. The breakfast is the only area that needs improved.

Had three nights in the Sir Thomas Hotel, and had a great time from start to finish. Mia, Callum and Andrew, were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us..The Thursday steak offer was great value, and breakfast was good. We will definitely return here.

Great location. We stayed on a Saturday night, first floor Windows don’t really shield any street noise - you could hear every car drive by and people talking on the street below until about 4am and street sweeper after 5am. As a result we didn’t sleep well.

Staff were good, breakfast was ok. The room had no air conditioning and was very warm, the window catch that stops the window opening too far was broken which if I had a child with me would have been a concern, but as it was so hot 32c it meant we could open the window wide. There was stains on the ceiling near the tv which was off putting but the room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy and good choice of pillows. The walls were a deep purple which felt sticky to the touch and the furniture was black, no my taste and probably wouldn’t have booked if I had known how dark the room was. It was very noisy at night and was woken a number of times but not the hotels fault it’s the location and having to have the window open to keep the room cool

Good location, very central. Quiet noisy and beds are not that comfortable. Had to wait for different foods at breakfast as there was not enough food for the amount of people staying.

No good

The rooms were very hot and stuffy. The things like TV didn't work or the phone would not work. The walls were sticky and some of the windows were painted shut. We changed rooms three times, as my husband is disabled and can't cope very well with the heat, but there was a couple asking for a refund because the room was so warm. The one thing i will say was the bathroom was lovely and shower was great. I also want to say that Nathan who helped us out was amazing.
